Would you make that demand of David Fincher?
Would you make that demand of David Fincher?
"I thought the paycheck for Jaws 4 would have more zeroes in it."
First time. I enjoy it quite a bit and do have the whole series, but I also work two jobs while my wife is unemployed.
I've been doing it, but I'm often busy with other things, so I am sometimes lucky to get two episodes in during the course of a week.
No one seemed to notice Brian Cox morphed into Brian Dennehy. So, that was two Brians dragged into this mess.
Betty Draper was her mom. Who do you think drove her father to drink?
Aw hell, they're already late for Robb's wedding.
I don't know if Gendry was the oldest of Robert's bastards…but he probably is the oldest one still alive right now.
Sansa has the worst gaydar in Westeros. She probably would have gone a decade or so before she even noticed he preferred the cook's boy.
Tyrion tried that once. It didn't work out.
His skills are entirely dependent on how well he treats the local fauna.
The Hound continues the series ongoing theme that the ugly, fat, deformed, scarred, castrated, crippled, or whatever other kind of outcast the person might be, are often better human beings than the handsome. Heck, you could add Jaime to that list since he seems to improve as a human being once he loses a hand.
Unfortunately, the people he cares about weren't much in attendance.
Which one of you is playing Harpo?
I had totally forgotten that, though now that you mention it, it makes Lennier sound an awful lot like Mr. Big backing off from Carrie's wedding in that awful Sex and the City movie, where he was also declared a bad guy. Does this mean I can now make my wife watch Babylon 5?
A relationship like John Allen Hill…or Gary's Old Town Tavern?
My general take on the Lannister siblings is that each of the three got something from Tywin. Tyrion got the brains. Jaime got the fighting skills. Cersi got the ambition. All three of those traits together is what makes Tywin so scary. As it is, Tyrion is smart but not overly ambitious. Perhaps being a dwarf…
Maybe I'm fuzzy on the whole nature/nurture thing, but Joffrey might have turned out better had Robert just been a good father to his "son" (something he owes up to on his deathbed). Then maybe Ned and Jon Arwyn wouldn't have been so curious about Joffrey. No one (aside from Tyrion) seemed to ever tell that kid to…
Tyrion has been metaphorically castrated by Tywin…
I think blaming Jaime for the slaughter of Dany's family is a bit much. But this is a theme for GoT in particular. If the Mad King were the Sane King, would there have been a rebellion led by Robert? If Robert had been a better king, husband, or father, would there have been a problem? If Tywin had been a more…
