Well, Alexander was probably a lot more tolerable before he learned to talk. And whine.

@avclub-618fd0370047b25592c8a7db0ff8a9c0:disqus I heard it was to get Robert Beltran to quit bitching!

Yeah, I think Sisko/Kasidy works fine — even the obvious routes for angst (what with her working for the Maquis and stuff) aren't particularly overblown. I think a lot of that is because Avery Brooks plays the domestic/family stuff so well, too, and because it's all played as basically normal people getting together

On the other hand, Steven Berkoff is awesome. So there's that.

Drunk Cersei is the best Cersei, but I won't shed a tear if they spend minimal time on the fucking kingsmoot.

Frank basically has the appropriate hairdo and everything!

Ethan Philips is a good actor, it's just that he is playing one of the most irritating characters in the history of Trek…

You just don't appreciate the fine art of the Cardassian repetitive musical.

Which makes me wonder about how exactly dabo is played.

That's brilliant.

I know I've always assumed that Weyoun was secretly a gluttonous, alcoholic sex maniac.

@avclub-04d524031f29c89d78cae864bd6f0de7:disqus So the whole Worf plotline consists of people finally getting to do something cool after repeated embarrassments on TNG?

My granny always said, if you want something hurled into the sun you've got to do it yourself!

@avclub-8dc6e36c3ea08f889b6ed2b9570dd6a6:disqus The thing that always stuck out for me about those episodes is that one woman who is really no worse than Lwaxana Troi, who of course is free to annoy the galaxy at will…

Between Lawrence Tierney and Steven Berkoff, next week is the week of terrifying guest stars! (I'm not sure whether or not Berkoff is terrifying in real life, but he is onscreen.)
