Robert definitely mentioned him, trying to convince Ned to kill Dany, he reminded Ned of what Rhaegar did to Lyanna.

Best Kid's show ever
This is probably the best kid's show ever, and I feel I can say that because I watched it when I was 21, and it doesn't have that veil of nostalgia that certain shows I remember loving but in all likelihood really suck do.
Dave Stevens
The creator of the Rocketeer. We could have had more!
There's also a Peake reference in George RR Martin's 'The Mystery Knight', which is a short story set 100 years or so before the events of Game Of Thrones, so I assume GRRM is a fan of Gormenghast too.
If co-workers at City Hall can't go out, then why was everyone fine with Andy and April? Is it just because 'shoe-shine boy' ranks so low on the pecking order? Or because they got married?
I guess they're waiting until BOOK 3 SPOILERS Sansa goes to the Vale to introduce her, (if at all) as by that point they'll know if she has a bigger role going forwards, like Gendry has.
Nope
I was most impressed by Spontaneous from Oni Press, a really interesting concept, and the Dark Horse Avatar: The Last Airbender book was great too.
Lord Varys, the bald creepy dude on the King's Council.
Granted it's only #1 but on the basis of that issue, it's not like The Boys at all, it's more openly comedic than The Boys, and doesn't have the (relatively) serious back story and corporate conspiracy.
Jimmy Olsen
Is perhaps the best DCU comic I have ever read, it was just the perfect superhero comic, despite not being about a superhero. It was the perfect melding of the Silver-Age Superman's Pal insanity and modern storytelling.
Freaks and Geeks reference?
The Greek guy who ran the Parking Garage was called Nick Andopolis.
FF
The new series has been solicited as being called 'FF' which is popularly believe to stand for 'Future Foundation' the weird thinktank Reed set up recently in the book which features a load of super-intelligent children and Alex from Power Pack.
Strange
It's strange that this hasn't stopped Sky TV in the UK pimping the fact that they have the rights to Season 5 on loads of advertising hoardings for their new channel 'Sky Atlantic'. Part of me almost hopes Season 5 doesn't happen so that Sky get egg on their faces.
NPH played the Barry Allen Flash in the movie version of New Frontier.
Millar books are fun, no need to analyse any closer than that.
Leonard, The Female isn't the only female character in The Boys, what about Starlight/Annie, who's relationship with Hughie is really quite low-key and well done? Sure, it'll probably burst into violence when Butcher finds out she's a superhero, but for now, it's one of the most realistic romances I've seen in a comic.
Joe The Barbarian
Is bloody brilliant, but that's mostly due to Sean Murphy, who is the next big thing, he'll be ruling the comics world in 5 years.
Y: The Last Man
Agent 355 and Ampersand in Y:TLM were pretty brutal.
Tom Cruise should be TAO.
