The highlight for me was when Randy Moss mooned the crowd with "SOY BOMB" written on his ass.

My standing assumption is that AMC revived 'The Killing' as a zombie show to be gruesomely murdered by the cast of 'The Walking Dead.'

This is the happiest day of Morrissey's life.

Nah, we know why.

All three were pretty terrific. But this season belonged to Lily Rabe's possessed sister. I was so disappointed when they killed her off, and so quickly. She and Arden really were the main antagonists, everything after their deaths was just prologue.

Yeah, I got that vibe. I didn't view her as heroic. Homicidal scumbag that he was, shooting her son at close range when he no longer appeared to be an immediate physical threat was cold-blooded.

@avclub-970ea7ccb341861f27f44b4ca3a51134:disqus I think Henry just pretended not to notice because he didn't want to be a dick who tells his wife she could stand to drop a few pounds.

@avclub-bf3eb25e65e1f87dab76829f15a0907a:disqus I have never understood the hatred for Betty, either. She was the character who initially drew me into the show in seasons two and three, and is still the most sympathetic as far as I'm concerned. (Along with Joan, who is in much the same position of playing by rules

This season should be 1967, maybe moving into 1968. So it's going to be getting pretty psychedelic, I would think, but not quite into hideous seventies territory just yet.

I dearly love both football and Wye Oak, and this is brilliant for many reasons. But none more so than her nod to the sublime absurdity of the Fat Guy Touchdown.

That's good. I'm not really a Yo La Tengo fan, but I did buy 'And Then Nothing…' when it was released because I heard the catchiest song, "You Can Have It All," and because a review described it as a "make-out album for adults." That's true, I've really come to love that album as I've grown older.

'American Horror Story' is definitely a comedy.

Gotta admit, I never expected my impending midlife crisis to be telegraphed by Walton Goggins.

They're all villains. But at the end it was clear even to Jesse that Gus was preferable to Walt.

Raylan casually walking over and taking the gun from the kid while shoving him to the floor is one of the great moments on this show. "You stay right there, on your ass."

It was a false accusation to put them on the defensive and hopefully get them to back off. … "Son, why did these men follow you to your house?" / "They's perverts!"

Personally I took it as Boyd telling him to beat the guy up.

This is probably the most compelling aspect of the show for me, the pride and status that comes with servitude. Very novel to the American viewer. I've always thought of servants of the wealthy as either hectored wage slaves, or else largely invisible to the people they served.

I was sincerely hoping it would turn out to be Michael Cane.
