So, what, would you rather read about albums everyone knows about, which are usually overrated, overplayed, and overly familiar? I'll take these kinds of articles over those any day. I'd like to see a lot more of this, actually.

I didn't recognize "the black guy." My wife didn't recognize "the black guy." Many, if not most, of the commentors here didn't recognize "the black guy." This isn't because we're dumbass morons like you seem to believe. It's because the show has failed to make many of these side characters have any impact beyond…
It worked better in the drugged orgy scenes than in the Ray/Paul scenes outside. I remarked a bit into the back-and-forth between those two scenes that it sounded like T-Bone took the night off.
As someone who's been planning on reading the books, I must thank you profusely for the excessive SPOILER space. If it's different, let me be surprised.
Annoying, but easy to get around, however. Find your add-on item, then find something that is a pre-order for a bit over the difference and won't be in stock until well after your thing should arrive. Place the order for both, and your add-on will ship immediately. Then go back and cancel the pre-order that qualified…
True story: the wife and I set out to see Garden State, but the showing we were going to was sold out. So I convinced her to see AvP instead. She still hasn't forgiven me for that.
"Matt McCoy, who follows Pied Piper’s come-from-behind arbitration victory on Silicon Valley"
What if I suck at video games. Does that mean I get to be sexist?
They never got to paper or scissors. They were all just playing a game of rock. I can win against these kids.
I really hope they just leave WP as this one season. There are SO many great books out there that could be adapted into one-off series like this. I'm not sure I'd be back for another season, honestly.
I've been suspecting since Pilcher was revealed to be behind WP that he is the one responsible for the Abbies in the first place. We only heard his story through his eyes, and I think he only told Ethan what he deemed necessary, not the whole truth. I wouldn't be surprised if the finale ends showing a flashback to…
Damn great album. They put out a solid live reunion album a few years back that I return to as often as this album. Craig Wedren's released some really good solo stuff, too. Wand is a bit more accessible than Pony Express Record but just as odd and oddly satisfying.
I'll be upset if Over The Garden Wall doesn't win.
"And the award for Outstanding Variety Sketch Series goes to 'Drunk'!" Finally some respect for alcoholics!
Maybe I'm alone, but I haven't seen anything in any of the trailers that made me 1) laugh or 2) want to see it. I stand by that, nothing in this review sounds promising to me. Won't pay for this, but if it pops up on Netflix or cable I'll check it out. Probably alone, though, but that's not bad because loneliness…
Ugh, this guy. I'm 42 and even with making sure I have ear plugs for concerts and listening to my own music at reasonable volumes most of the time, there's no way I can tell the difference between a good mp3/aac file and the original CD. And that means there's absotively, posilutely no way 70 year old, standing in…
Just watched Contagion a couple weeks back. It was extremely satisfying to watch her die.
Even guitar/bass/drums bands perform with Macs these days. I just saw Steven Wilson a few weeks back and on top of his keyboard is perched a Macbook. It makes sense - why buy a keyboard with built-in sounds when you can get a MIDI controller and access whatever you want from your computer?
The only song named "Radioactive" that I'll acknowledge is the one by The Firm.
I get the feeling that all his philosophical postulating is supposed to look and sound as forced as his bad-guy persona. Frank's a guy who is in over his head in the crime world, and he's equally out of his depths as a deep-thinker. Like Ray, he's lost. It's not a brilliantly crafted role, unfortunately, but I feel…
