What's "the TI forums"? I'm on the Avocado now but haven't heard of this other one.

True - there was a joke about how Genesis never found a permanent lead singer and Phil was just filling in until they did. They finally did when Phil left and turned out Calling All Stations, and the world forgot they existed, and so they stopped existing.
"just Jerry Marotta."
I'm here! I'm here!
Zwan was actually a pretty solid and fun album. I return to it from time to time and am always surprised how it's held up. I can't say the same for any Pumpkins stuff from Adore on, however. (And I know Adore has a solid fanbase but I'm just not one of them.)
Are those accounts not going to work on Kinja? I'll be sad to see those go, if so. I have always particularly enjoyed the dunder-headed blatherings of Reposted A7X Fan comments.
Unfortunately, it's just been cemented in the minds of Trump supporters as, indeed, "a thing." All they needed was something concrete to make it real for them, and Trump pointing fingers that direction over the Charlottesville attack is exactly what they needed. Nevermind that it means nothing to anyone else right…
Fun how that works out, huh? The protest is attacked by extremists, thus dampening the enthusiasm of further protesters for fear of being killed for speaking your mind. I'm not saying someone specifically set out to accomplish this, but it sure works out in their favor if it does.
The Music Man, I think? I'm not as up on my Broadway musicals as I probably should be, but my older daughter participated in an almost incomprehensible production of The Music Man at her school and it sounded like this, according to the synopsis.
"neither Fisher nor the character are especially big names"
The Sports! music video and the early (pre-abduction) Casey/Uncle Muscles stuff are what I think of when I think of T&E.

You live
In Los Angeles

In some way or

To die
And the radioman

On a more serious note, I actually overheard some coworkers talking about The Secret recently and still have open wounds from biting my tongue for so long. Two of said coworkers involved I thought had pretty level heads, but they were fully engaged in the magickal Secret powers discussion. Maybe they were just…
OH YEAH?! PROVE you don't send magic fucking energy out into the universe! Prove it!
Porgy and Bess
Eh, I think they got their mojo back for Hardwired. Death Magnetic at least felt like they were trying again, but it misses the mark in too many places. Hardwired is too long but a very solid album.
Y'alls blinders are on. You're not paying attention to what people are saying. Many of us are familiar with Kinja and loathe it. We're not bitching because we're afraid of change. We're bitching because this change is BAD. Real bad. Take a step back and look at what people are actually saying rather than just trying…
If the responses I'm seeing from Kinja are really how the comments are going to work, then I am pretty confident you're going to see a major loss of readers. I don't just come to read the articles, I come here for the comments because this is a bunch of people who are both informed and informative, but also extremely…
If that's the way they see the comments for AV Club, let me just wish all of you a good life and good luck in all you do. I don't come here for scintillating, in-depth on-topic conversation. I'm here because you all are funny as hell and these long, nested threads are hilarious. In other words: Kinja, if it's going to…
There's nothing decent about us! How dare you insinuate such a thing!
