I thought Morrissey looked quite comfortable considering he's Morrissey.

I was huge fan of both Prince and Batman (guess I still am on both counts) and while I was glad that this soundtrack existed I was never motivated to go out and buy it for myself. Listening to it at friends' houses was good enough. Not terrible, yes, but decidedly minor.

Wasn't he a bandleader? I'd say the front man is distinguished from the bandleader. Keith Richards, for example, is the bandleader; Mick Jagger is the front man. When they are the same person, I think "bandleader" describes the role better. Front man is a far more limited role, to my mind implying that the individual

Ian MacLagan from the [small] Faces wrote a memoir that also covers his time with the Stones in the 70s. The debauchery was led by Keef but Charlie was always there.

I just read it recently and I agree. Funny and horrifying in turns. Never saw a movie adaptation and I can't figure how someone could have thought to make that into a love story.

There's a Q Lennon Covered disc that opens with Madonna singing Imagine. I'm not normally a Madonna-hater, or that is to say I hadn't been one until I heard that. It almost made me hate my ears.
