Oh, and I get ridiculously vivid dreams from melatonin, too. And compared to normal dreams, they're really coherent. So it's pretty cool if the dream is pleasant, but awful if it's unpleasant.

I get the "somnolence" side effect from melatonin. 10 mg will have me fighting to keep my eyes open 30 minutes later. So those Lazy Cakes sound like no fun at all.

Doesn't the brain take up either the majority or plurality of the body's energy? I don't see how people could think that an organ that sucks up so much energy is only 10% useful.
