For the last time, Mike: I'm washing my hair and watching Conan that night.  Stop asking.

A belated thank you for this response.  Though my phrasing might have been a touch snarky, I'm a Sherlock Holmes fan, so there's a level of interest.  The impression I had from what little I saw was that this was a version of Sherlock Holmes for audiences who want the characters and the set-dressing without much

I only saw the pilot of Elementary but immediately wrote it off because it seemed like the mystery contained rather large holes, while Holmes's actual deductions were weak-to-illogical when his reasoning was explained at all.

@olivececile:disqus and @Fluka:disqus :  Sherlock's plan doesn't account for Moriarty being able to see him from the roof because faking his death was always the B-plan devised for any scenario where Moriarty was dead.

Honestly, I think Sherlock might have made my year-end list just on the strength of The Reichenbach Fall.  "Complex" doesn't even begin to cover it; I'm struggling to come up any other script with quite as much happening, and so much extra stuff to be found on subsequent viewings.  There's the plot itself, throughout

It's worth a re-watch of the final scene at least if you're curious, Scrubbers.  Moffat isn't kidding about the clues, and there are definitely major chunks of solution that are gettable just from a normal amount of looking and thinking about it.

Honestly, if the target demographic for Home Alone was children roughly in the neighborhood of Kevin's age?  That strikes me as a bit early for distinguishing some of the finer points there.  It's all fine and well to tell your kid not to do the stuff Kevin does to people because in real life they'd quite possibly

The problem I have with Home Alone, ultimately, is the same problem I have with Twilight.

The Harry Potter franchise perhaps bears mentioning.

So I get that Gaffigan is likable and polished and generally goes down smooth, but it surprises me when I see him getting any sort of serious critical praise.  In my mind, this will always be a guy who sincerely thought " LOL Bacon" was a joke that had a place in a standup routine in the 21st century.

Any possibility you mentioned him blogging about the stuff people give him,  and he interpreted your intent as "I'm giving this film I made to you, will you plug it on your blog?"
