True, but the voice is important, especially when you're following Tim Curry.

It might have been cool if they'd had several actors play Pennywise anyway. Ben Mendelsohn would have been GREAT.

Uhh… okay. It shouldn't matter too much who plays Pennywise anyway, since It takes on so many different forms in the book, but this is still a weird choice. He's a pretty good actor, though.

This weirdly made me a lot more excited for the movie. When I think about it I do kind of want to see a comic book movie like this, a ridiculous Fast & Furious/Ocean's-type team/heist movie featuring a few cool main characters who are actually taken mildly seriously and then a bunch of ancillary weirdos played by

I'm certain that Joker isn't actually going to be part of the Squad, though. Not only does it not suit the character - nobody buys the idea that Joker would be used as a government plaything, and nobody wants to see that, either - but he's crucially not in this photo. He's going to have his own part in the movie,

Falcon is a far better character, but if you've already got three other team members who fly AND do other stuff besides flying, he just seems so pointless.

I did wonder whether he meant that his Hulk genes made him unable to have kids, or that he couldn't physically have sex because he'd Hulk out.

Iron Man vs Hulk just frustrates me because it was a totally spectacular scene and entertaining as fuck, but also entirely unnecessary in a movie that's clearly already had to be heavily edited.

Vision's pretty important to the story and the character's always been tied to Ultron. The twins are a lot less important in the actual movie, and feel a lot more like Whedon just really wanted them on the team in this and future films.

He could have just given Klaw or Von Strucker those roles, really.

It is a bit troubling. I actually really liked Iron Man 3, particularly the way the ending actually felt like the start of a new direction for the MCU, which even at that point was starting to feel a little stale. But nope - next time we see Tony, he's just flying around as Iron Man again with no explanation. The

Have you seen The Hurt Locker? He's truly great in that. It pretty much kicked off his career. Also, you asked why he keeps being cast in big movies, and it probably is due to his award nominations. Like, people want him because he was nominated, regardless of whether or not he 'deserved' the nominations in the first

You are right, but I still really, really enjoyed the movie. It's a weird feeling…

Yeah, I agree. I'm totally certain that they meant it like "this happened, and also" but… definitely not very well-thought out.

I think I know what you're talking about, but can you elaborate? It isn't really a spoiler.

He wasn't particularly scary, but he was fun to watch.

I wouldn't really describe him as quippy. He's no more jokey than Loki. Yes, that rhymed.

I liked it. It was everything I expected, really. The Vision was very well done. I feel like they probably could have made it even longer, though, and few would have complained.

Definitely could have cast a better Ginny/played up her role more overall.

Only got properly into this band quite recently and I can't believe I haven't been listening to them my whole life. They are Great. Awesome to see this article!
