I read this with the exact inflection of that line too!
Yeah, me too. I won't have my Golden Age Simpsons quotes used in serious circumstances! Never, do you hear me?!!
Yeah, I've often been told when I visit other countries that I sound evil. I say the same thing to my Russian friends.
This must've been one of the first episodes I ever saw as a kid, because I always associate that "Ooh! I'm needed in the basement!" walk joke with this show without ever remembering particularly why.
The screenshots are just the same these days for some reason.
"Dad, don't take this the wrong way, but your expression doesn't fill me with confidence."
Oh man, casting a male actor as a female Doctor would be fantastically douchey.
That BBC special was unbearably pointless. It's a little embarrassing how obviously we're trying to make this a big deal here, even though David Tennant and Matt Smith's casting announcements were barely even announcements. Anyway; let's hope Capaldi can add some sophistication to this television series about immortal…
HA! What, with a man in the White House?! Not likely! Haaaahahahahahahahaaa!!!
Could this be the character's best episode? It's gotta be either this or Deep Space Homer, although my personal favourite line of his will always come from Homer the Vigilante:

Tune in later tonight for the highlights of today's vigil, including when the garbage man came, and when Marge Simpson put the cat out. Possibly because it was harassed, we don't know.
Now, this technology is new to me, but I'm pretty sure that's Homer Simpson in the oven, rotating slowly. His body temperature has risen to over 400 degrees; he's literally stewing in his own juices!
"Mr Simpson - Mr Simpson NOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Now I'm gonna grab me somethin' sweet.
So was the full Dads pilot broadcast already? I must see it. Also, I'm horribly angered by the prospect of Wayward Pines. If you're going to rip off Twin Peaks, at least come up with a title that makes any sense; that is, unless the show actually turns out to be about some unpredictable trees, which, given that M…
Is it bad that I know the Glee Beatles covers are going to enrage me more than this tragic loss of a young life? Cus I was pissed when I heard Monteith died, but man, bad Beatles covers are so easy to hate.
Your fandom is inspiring dude, seriously.
