I agree with a hell of a lot of this. I really liked the movie and once it got to the SEALS doing their thing I really felt like I was watching history, and it was amazing. Then it got back to Maya and she looked at UBL's corpse and was crying and everything and it just started feeling like the revenge movie again. It

I still don't understand how they came up with this joke and I never want to.

Hank Scorpio may be the only character in any work of fiction who makes me laugh with every line. Even now it's impossible for me to pick a favourite line of his, although "Stay here with me, we'll go bowling!" comes to mind immediately.

One of my favourite Castallanetta deliveries ever.

Movie violence is nothing like real violence, just as movie relationships are nothing like real relationships and movie computers never work like real computers do. It's all fiction. Tarantino has never seen a man get his head blown off, he just made a movie where it happened inside the movie.
Not two days ago I was

Aww dammit. I should avoid bringing this movie up because it's still over a week before we get Django here in the UK and spoilers are everywhere. Ridiculous that it's released almost a month later over here.

Speaking of Beyonce, those pics you linked to earlier have been very bad for productivity. http://www.gq.com/images/en… Goddamn, the woman had a baby last year for God's sake!

King Schultz was America's greatest hero, you bastard!

Well to each his own and all, but where did you see it? I didn't watch it in the cinema but.. um, did manage to find a perfect quality version through nefarious methods and watched it with a few friends and shitload of snacks. By that sequence we were all kind of sleepy and semi-bored so the hazy, trance-like imagery

Zero Dark Thirty. It's from the climactic sequence when Bin Laden attempts to escape on his genetically engineered mutant hogs. I… haven't seen it

What about Favourite Character of 2012? It's an extremely tough choice but all I can think right now is Bane. I could just watch and listen to that guy all day. Awesome in his fights and his dialogue and when he's just sitting around doing some top class eye emoting. He's as fascinating as the Joker but also, he's Tom

Which one did you see first? I kinda wanna know at what point you saw Walton Goggins again and briefly thought you were back in the other movie.

I didn't love it either but I did think its two leads were excellent, and that much of the movie, particularly the whole sequence where the girls go to that slow dance club thing, was a visual treat on the level of Skyfall's neon jellyfish scene. I'd be fine with it winning, but it won't so don't worry.

I think he was better than the girl, certainly (which isn't an insult, the film was very well acted). And giving a six year old an Oscar is perhaps the most pointless thing you can do. Sorry, I'm sure her acceptance speech would be adorable and all, but it's true.

Yeah, I find that pretty silly. What's anybody going to be able to say about the six year old girl nominated for Best Actress, or for Bradley Cooper?
