Well that's something I guess. I would have guessed The Dark Knight Rises would get the nom for that, though,

I love Jeff Bridges more than most things.

Yeah, sorry, I do confuse the two.

But how many movies are there where a female actress literally just plays a man without any kind of acknowledgement by the other characters, AND knocks it out of the park in terms of acting? I can think of only a handful of the top of my head… Tilda Swinton in Orlando, Glenn Close in Albert Nobbs, Elena Anaya in The

Phillip Seymour Hoffman has it in the bag, surely?

Snub is reeeally gonna hate Oscar.

Because then they'd have to add like ten slots to every acting category and there would be even more outrageous snubs, for one thing.

Rachel Weisz is perhaps the worst snub, but Matthew McConaughey in anything, James Spader for Lincoln, Looper for Best Screenplay, The Master for Best Picture and The Dark Knight Rises for at least some bullshit like Best Sound Editing truly irritate me. To be fair it was an astoundingly excellent year for movies,

I haven't seen any of those shorts and they probably don't deserve it, but man I would love it if The Simpsons won an Oscar.

I cannot believe Looper wasn't nominated for Best Screenplay. And it's weird that the two biggest movies of the summer, Avengers and Batman, were so thoroughly snubbed. I mean either could have at least gotten a Best Original Score nod.

Oh my God, Michael Haneke might get a Best Director Oscar. That's outstanding.

That's as good a written expression of Yeezy's grunt/whine as I've ever read.

Rugrats was my favourite children's cartoon as a youth. If you're going to rewatch all the best kids shows from our childhoods (which you seem to be doing, or something) I'd say Rugrats is up there as the best of the best. Also Rugrats in Paris made me cry when I was a lad.

If you are going to watch a Final Destination movie, make it 2. It's very subtly done but watch that ending and then try and tell me it isn't a gross out comedy. Very well done film, it's a shame the rest of the franchise is so boring.

Yes but I, like so many others, was raised on the more corny Godzilla movies and didn't actually see the original until later in life, where I was honestly just disappointed there weren't any flying moths or alien princesses. I watch Godzilla movies for one thing: Godzilla fucking things up.

"#cutforbieber". Apparently young women are cutting themselves and posting the results on Twitter in a poorly thought out attempt to persuade Bieber to kick his crushing pot habit. Perhaps the horrifying devotion of his fans coupled with his discovery of recreational drugs will lead to his mental breakdown. This could
