This may be the one movie where I can honestly say: who gives a fuck about script, a Godzilla movie only needs a ballsy, creative and talented action director in order to rock. I saw this Gareth Edwards fella's previous movie and I don't see how he's suited to this at all, other than the fact that the movie was called

I just hope King Ghidorah returns. When he appeared at the end of Final Wars I squealed with happiness. He was always my favourite as a youth.

I'd also argue it's Wiggum's funniest episode. Every one of his lines is a classic.

D!*%$ My Mom S%?!*$

As a mild Suburgatory fan I'm most looking forward to seeing if Levy can carry a full movie. Come to think of it,Jeremy Sisto as Ash would also be… well, terrible, but I would obviously pay to see it.

See I never thought of The Evil Dead as much 'fun', at least not compared with its sequel which took the series into straight up black comedy. People seem to confuse the two. But then this remake isn't helping things by incorporating elements of Evil Dead 2, I guess.

That sort of went over my head because I was still reeling at the sheer number of "somebody severs a limb whilst screaming in horror" scenes shown in this trailer alone. I mean goddamn. If this movie ends with everybody cutting off their own body parts just like Ash did just for the sake of referencing the original,

I read she's basically the main character of the movie as well as the main villain. Sorta like how Ash kept getting possessed in the original movies. I'm reasonably excited, honestly. If we're going to have an Evil Dead remake at least it'll double as a Jane Levy vehicle.

Good to see Clint Howard getting work.

He was going to call MBDTF "A Good Ass Job" originally, which I think would have been a nice way to tie all those albums together. I do like the Dropout Bear's little cameo in the MBDTF artwork though.

Get off my lawn and back to the Kanye West Primer, youth!

Isn't that a line from an 808s song too? Maybe the Lil Wayne one? Wonder which came first.
Also, is that the movie where he pulls a mouse out of himself and then kills it or something?

I think it just lacks the personality of his other albums. It feels kind of empty to me. The songs are much sort of.. quieter and more simple in the production than his others (except 808s, but that album's basically a different genre and was all about being minimalist). It also stands out as being his only rap album

I agree. Something about the way he 'sings' (especially on the 808s album and especially on Street Lights and Bad News) makes his songs sound really… sad. In a good way. I don't think West is a great lyricist and if anyone else repeatedly said the line 'Life's just not fair' in a song I think it'd just sound whiney,

He doesn't want to stop West's ranting and be thought a square, but he can't bring himself to join in and become a Howard Beale-esque preacher of he airwaves

Isn't Bryan Cranston gonna be on 30 Rock as Kenneth's stepfather? That should be great.

Great list. It's good to know that whatever the next year holds, whether I get stabbed or shot or have an ear or a kidney or an eye stolen, provided I do not die, I will be around in some form to see the end of Breaking Bad, the new SHIELD show, and the final film in the Blood and Ice Cream trilogy.
Also, I'm

I agree. I'd rather he keeps doing what he does best really well, than him experimenting for the sake of it and making a bad film. Plus the last film Tarantino made that wasn't an ultra stylised ultra violent epic about revenge was Death Proof, and a lot of people hate that (I myself enjoy it, if only for Kurt
