Yeah, that wasn't meant to be Ms. Morell, I don't think. It certainly *wasn't* Bianca Lawson. It was an actress named Meagan Tandy. So if it was supposed to be Morell, it was an unannounced recast with nothing in the episode to indicate that's who it was supposed to be.

No, they haven't really, but I think its not a formal thing like on TB. They've never implied there's any official structure of vampire society, just that Marcel is the current leader of the New Orleans supernatural beings, and hence, the King.

Yeah, which is what they did with the rest of Phase 1. If I'm reading this timeline correctly, Iron Man 2, Thor, and Incredible Hulk all take place in the same week. Cap was still on ice: http://marvel.com/images/ga…

I wanted to like this show so badly, considering how much I adored Alaric Saltzman and loved Alona Tal on Supernatural, but it was just so all over the place. The dialogue was bad, and the catchphrase they kept repeating lacked the gravitas I'd like to see for a mystery of this type. I will certainly give it a few

I was too busy hearing "Julie Taylor is a slut!" when he was on screen, thanks to his role on FNL.

But Elena's choices aren't between "killing a bunch of vampires" or "not killing a bunch of vampires" really. The only option that avoids killing vamps is letting Damon kill Jeremy or letting Jeremy kill himself. Barring those, either Klaus forces Jeremy to kill new vamps he's turned for that purpose one by one or

I think they've already said it will take place in present day. I'm assuming flashbacks will happen, but I think its going to be grounded in a post-Mystic Falls time.

But he dumped her? Yeah, that's actually what happened. Not saying that he doesn't have a right to some anger, but c'mon, he did a lot of questionable stuff after she turned. This isn't all on her. She's *always* been as honest with him about her feelings for Damon as she could (though sometimes she was clearly

Agree. I don't enjoy Skrillex as a rule, and was kind of dreading this track, but wound up enjoying it anyway.

Agree, agree. I just read an article yesterday, which I'll link, detailing a case in Mississippi, not too far from the WM3 case, where a charlatan doctor and dentist were basically responsible for a killer going free for years because of privilege and corruption, and this was not the only case they were responsible

Jeremy: I told you I could be a badass.
Damon: Badasses don't say that.

My book knowledge is a little rusty, but if I'm remembering correctly, bloodsharing is a sex substitute in the books. They never get actually naked but they have a pseudo-orgasmic experience when sharing blood.

I think he was rescued by a boat (fishermen, maybe?) after he saw the boat on the horizon and lit a signal fire.

Agreed. Maybe the way he blamed Matt wasn't FAIR, but it was certainly in line with Damon's usual behavior. Its kind of his thing. I kept seeing people saying his treatment of Matt was over the line, but its not even in the top 10 of awful crap Damon has done for me (and he's still my favorite character).

I knew he was the son of a writer, but not which one specifically. Pretty cool.

Somehow, this show has become the new show I was most concerned with getting picked up for a second season. I can't argue with any of the problems with it Carrie outlined, they are all true, especially how badly the Zoe/George stuff has been handled.
