I love that song and the classic film it's from.  It was even good when Glee did it.  But can someone please tell me the relevance to this montage …..I was confused the whole way through

Ryan Hurst's performance as Opie was excellent but Charlie Hunnam as Jax is equally good.  The transformation of Jax from Season 1 to here has been amazing.  For an actor that could just coast on his looks Hunnam has to be admired for the finesse and power of this performance.

Gemma sent Chuckie to Jax's house to drop off some car mats that apparently Tara needed urgently.  Chuckie found the basket on the doorstep and brought it back to the garage because it contained perishables. Contrived but not nonsensical

I don't think there is any possibility of Clay being Jax's father. In the very first episode when Gemma and Clay were discussing him getting weak like his father the subject would have come up. It's been clear from the beginning that Gemma and Clay were together from long before John's death but remember that Jax

I'm missing something here … why would the discussion about Jax's little brother dying foreshadow the death of his elder son?

The home invasions are being carried out by the ex Nomads and planned by Clay, or at least that is how it seems.  I'm just not sure exactly why Clay is doing it!  One thing is for sure, Clay isn't going to make it easy for Jax to run things his way

I think he sacrificed himself to save Jax, having decided that after all he did love someone! Although he was in a suicidal frame of mind which also contributed to his decision! I was so glad that Jax picked himself, any other decision and it would really have been hard to see him as any kind of hero, even a flawed

Bobby found out that Luann had been cheating the club by not paying them their share of the real profits …she was keeping a second set of books.  She paid him off with sex to keep it quiet.

Thomas was younger than Jax. According to SutterInk it was to pay medical bills to address Thomas' congenital heart problems that led John to become involved in the gun running to begin with. Gemma has said before that it was after Thomas died that John became weak. Jax was sitting on his gravestone when Piney gave

Actually I think the Russian guys sound more authentically Irish than Jimmy ever did. Plus they're nice guys who have the manners to continue to speak in English even when they're all just Russian gangsters together.

During Gemma's soul searching last season we saw her reading the singed copy in a leather cover. Jax gave the copy that Piney gave to him at the end of Season 1 to Tara to read during Season 2.

Nope, we have contraception and everything here. In fact I suspect that in most of Ireland you'd wonder if you had really left America.

They're in Northern IRELAND hence the people are Irish. Some of them may also consider themselves to be British. In any case I suggest you don't actually go there and suggest to any random people you meet on the street that they're not Irish
