I think Jensen Ackle's acting is a little over rated here … he's extremely easy on the eye and is competent for the type of acting he does but I don't believe he is any better at acting than Jared is. I think the criticism of Jared's portrayal of Sam this season is also a little harsh, I think he's doing quite a

I think you'll find all of the "Irish" scenes this series are actually set in the 1970s - the decade in which apparently we here in Ireland are still living. This is the place where we have "orphanages" full of babies and nuns - there are virtually no Irish babies put up for adoption, most Irish couples who wish to

John Teller went to Belfast long after Jax was born, when his little brother was sick. I also suspect that the girl in the shop is Jax's half sister, I wonder does McGee know?

I can't take Jimmy seriously because his accent is so appallingly bad. It's a shame really as Titus Welliver is a fine actor.
Dreadful Oirish accents aside I've hated the kidnapping story from the start, I don't believe that Cameron would have taken the baby with him - I know it's his grief that supposed to have

My problem with the finale wasn't that things were left unresolved, I have no issue with that. My big problem is with how contrived the storyline was; how many unlikely coincidences and/or characters acting completely out of character had to be strung together to get to where they were going.
My other major issue is

Can we have less of the "good father" bit. I'm not saying that this scene was not affecting, and beautifully played (not to mention one of the few parts of the episode that didn't feel ridiculous) but in no circumstances would I consider him a good father.

It's killing me to say this but I have to agree with Drolz, almost completely on this episode. I think it is possible that Zach reviewed a different episode than the one I just watched. I have consistently defended these characters (and these writers) against Drolz' criticism that they lacked any depth of character

Lets see if Kurt Sutter can surprise both of us Drolz.

1. Jax's "smart" alternative was, as it was all season, to do their research, take their time, make sure everyone was safe and then "unravel" Zobelle's organisation.
2. If you put yourself in Jax's shoes, beating the hell out of his mother's rapist would be much more satisfying that shooting him (the only bit that

I think Vic Mackey might be onto something here. Jax had that little trademark smirk on his face when Hale arrested Zobelle and also when Hale turned up at the "rumble". Plus would Unser really have been stupid enough to send the two cops straight back to the station to tip off Hale????? Either way, I can't wait

I disagree with pretty much everything Drolz says ….. which of course puts me on the side of Zach and his review.
Supernatural is at it's best when it doesn't take itself too seriously, they have great chemistry between the brothers, do their special effects well, have cool fight/kill scenes (Sam/barbed

I disagree with your reading of what Jax has been trying, albeit pretty ineffectively, to do in recent episodes. I don't believe he is indecisive and he has proven this many times in the past. Just because there are some Hamlet references doesn't mean that we can assume that Jax shares Hamlet's tragic flaw. From the

From what I can remember these guys are supposed to be from Omagh. I've lived in Ireland all my life and have an uncle from Omagh and have never heard anyone sound like him. All of the "Irish" accents are pretty bad in this but his is so bad that it completely distracted me from the drama of his threats etc. I just

I think it's a little unfair to criticise his accent like that …. don' t you mean his accents. He seemed to have a different one every time he opened his mouth.

The "Irish" are True IRA and definitely Catholic … when they were hiding the guy in season 1 after he'd been shot and Tara patched him up they made a big thing of him saying the Rosary in front of Gemma. He even gave her his rosary beads when he was leaving. Chibs being Scottish doesn't necessarily mean he would not

Jax is not just saying Wait, wait, wait … he's saying investigate, do due diligence, figure out what we're up against before we leap into the breach. Obviously that's not reasonable at all!!
Of course Jax is also playing Hamlet in this tribute to Shakespeare …. now what was Hamlet's tragic flaw again????? Oh yes…

How can you pass over "I didn't shoot her!" as the funniest moment …. although admittedly it had a lot of competition in this episode.

I thought this scene was really interesting …. especially how quickly Jax appeared at his mother's side and the look on his face as he stared Clay down when Clay grabbed at Gemma! I've been wondering since the last couple of episodes last season which side of the Jax/Clay divide Gemma would come down on…. now I'm
