I preface this by saying I haven't seen Dogma since I was 20 or 21 (thus my opinion may have changed), but I also enjoyed it. And at the time I was steeped in Catholicism and moving rapidly toward rejecting it, so I had the same thought about whether it works best for people like us.

I don't know, do they really excel at anything covert?

This is one of the funniest threads ever on the AV Club. Thank you @repostedcustomerreviews:disqus for getting it started with that amazingly horrible review

I am a banana!

I did not come up with Stromboli, but as soon as Trebek said it, the first thing I thought of was that song!

i think that is my favorite episode of Black Mirror; those two really hit it out of the park

he is the bright shining spot in that dismal movie (that I watched about a million times when I was a kid)

I think about this sort of thing when I see someone's image used in a meme to promote some cause (especially something political) and wonder if that's really what that person would want. Especially any meme like "X person won this award, but this person Y who is a hero for these reasons is so much better. X person is

I think I'm thinking of someone younger, but he does look like a young Peter Riegert! It was driving me crazy again while watching tonight

Adam reminds me of some actor, but I cannot figure out who. Anyone else think he seemed super familiar?

the AVC search is so terrible. I can't comprehend how a search algorithm in 2016 is that bad

It took me many years to realize the pleasure of seeing a movie alone. Now I generally prefer it. Especially compared to seeing it with someone that won't shut up, like @skull@avclub-f8063f1b0b35246aaecc6911f3981d81:disqus said. I saw FA with my sister, and she did the "is he really dead?", "no way", :::obnoxious

I made the exact same mistake as Steve. Namely, immediately going to black dahlia when a black flower is needed, as well as kind of completely ignoring the clue. Re-reading it here, Haarlem is the big clue here to getting tulip

i thought it didn't count if you don't say it out loud to the TV?

It is like Netflix went into my head to create a show just for me! can't wait! Not for the Windsor monarchy aspect of it, but I love a good British period piece and that cast is amazing

American's fetiziation of the flag weirds me out, and I am American. But I assume I'm in the minority

I agree! It was fun and I actually laughed quite a bit (the line about the universe being an amazing place if sarcasm actually helped was my favorite), and Capaldi and Kingston had wonderful chemistry. I kind of wish it wasn't their "last night" together, because I wanted to see more of them together

based on how this company rejected digital when one of its own invented it, and how they have performed in the market in the past decade and a half, I would say they are definitely no longer the experts

I was confused about this as well

that guy stumbled into a win, so I will eat my hat if he isn't a one and done
