Growing up with the name Ann and very curly hair inevitably lead to being called "little orphan Annie" all the damn time. I can't stand being called Annie.

he's almost unrecognizable with so much visible upper lip!

I had a suite-mate in college that smoked opium more than occasionally. your question was always the one I had for her

then they'd all know about your freak ice-hands!

In my personal list of his works, I'd rank The Bone Clocks above Cloud Atlas. I haven't read all of his books (just those 2 and Jacob de Zoet), but he is quickly becoming one of my favorite authors

I believe he lived in Japan for 5 years or so, and is fluent in Japanese.

I could picture Matt Damon-from-5 or 10-years-ago as the lead. I've been trying to come up with who I think would be perfect, and I'm having trouble. I pictured him as that "all-american" athletic but brainy type. Looks like Chris Pratt but with the intellectualism of James McAvoy as Professor X

I had similar thoughts about his accent. Then I wondered why *that* was the one thing on this batshit show that bugged me as not realistic

i missed the recap, and was so lost because I couldn't remember what happened and the end of the last season. I need to rewatch the first season (I think it is the perfect TV for binging)

I saw an interview with Allyson Hannigan about the time the show ended, and she choked up when asked about not working with Jason Segal anymore, so I think it probably is really hard to develop such a close working relationship and then have it suddenly end one day. However, she is married to Wesley

then they realized those kids grow up to be Jeffrey Dahmer

that makes more sense than Rob Schneider

a few weekends ago…I loved it. Wanted to read it again as soon as I finished

WUBC was the first of his books that I read (probably at least 10 years ago now) and I loved it, but I honestly can't remember the ending. I've been wanting to re-read it

It sounds like maybe they were trying to echo the original theme music? That's what I immediately thought of when I first heard it

I had a lot of trouble coming up with an answer for this. I'm sure there is some song out there I love despite not liking anything else by the artist, but I can't think of one. But as I was rewatching Arrested Development for the 1000th time, I thought Jason Bateman might be mine. I love that show and he is so

I had the most wonderful realization on Friday night that, despite not getting BBC America or Sundance with my cable package, I get their on demand stuff. So I was finally able to watch this season of Doctor Who, and will be able to get to see Rectify season 2 before it comes on Netflix.

I hope your dad is ok!

I think a David Mitchell written episode of Doctor Who sounds like the greatest thing since sliced bread.

I'm so disappointed that everyone thinks This Is Where I Leave You is so crappy. What a great cast, and probably the first post-AD thing Jason Bateman has done that I actually wanted to see after watching the trailer
