it always surprises me when I see terrible wigs (not on purpose) in television shows or movies. seriously, they can look so good (see also Christina Hendricks), so you wonder how shit a budget has to be to be using wigs that look like they came from a seasonal halloween store

Don't base your decision to read this author on that movie. His prose is so elegant and stories are so engaging. He's becoming one of my favorite authors

It is pretty clear from this comments section (and the article itself) that no one who has been here yet has read this book (I know there are AV Clubbers out there who have read it, because that's where I got the recommendation to pick it up). You should all remedy that and read it because it is fantastic

I didn't think she was horrible, but I have to admit that I don't watch that closely when it is someone I don't care about (too busy on the AV club). But I'm waiting to hear that she's been kicked out of Footloose High for her scandalous dancing on national TV.
