Just block him. It really is better that way.

I'VE GOT WOOD FOR SHEEP LOLOL

If you interpret "much worse…not even close" to mean "roughly the same," then yeah.

Heh, Catan — bad game, or the worst game ever?

It has given me the opportunity to argue with the submitter on which one goes first and which one goes second, and being pedantic is my favorite thing, so…

"Who has ever claimed it was transgressive? At best, it carries the vicarious thrill of acting transgressive with less of the consequences."

Yeah, a big part of what offends me is the way he relies on movie footage for the punch lines. You could literally splice that shit into any interview, with anybody, and make the same "joke" (that the person talking is stupid and you are superior.) It says a lot about the conservative mind.

But realistically, they don't always manage to do that, especially since its a hobby with all kinds of n00bs as well as experts. I'm just objecting to an over-idealized description of how it works.

"It's seriously a lot less cruel than what our meat industry is now….If you do it right then there's no pain for the animals."

I know, right? It obviously wasn't supposed to be read until later, anybody can see that.

No mention of "Watch Us Work It"?

Well duh, it was planned by somebody. From coverage in Vogue, found via google:

I generally like them and love this song, but what I notice most in this clip is that the singing is actually surprisingly terrible. Guess they were still getting warmed up.

Yeah, We have one in our building who is a truly disturbing creep. You just have to meet one "bad apple" to realize that these people with the unchecked power to kill and ruin lives are fucking terrifying. Doesn't matter how many Officer Friendlies there are.

Certainly the tough-guy cops and wannabees on the internet will tell you that de-escalating "can get you killed." Seems to be current doctrine.

Oooh, Todd Solondz's inevitable foray into television! Happiness, Tuesdays at 10:00.

The more I read these comments the more I'm reveling in the fantasy that this show could have been a fucking awesome black comedy, like Alexander Payne or Mike Leigh-style material in a series format. PROBABLY NOT, THOUGH.

Maybe it feels too much like Dan Rather's scoop on the Air National Guard Documents? They are worried they will get burned?

+1 for Katz's. And I'm surprised the Sarge's partisans haven't shown up yet, still haven't tried it.

On the one hand, that is a sick burn. On the other, I love Kate McKinnon too much to upvote it.
