This show couldn't be more timely and the acting, omg the acting! When Philip's son was told he couldn't meet his dad it broke my heart. Knowing that they killed a man for NOTHING broke my heart. ( Even thought they had no other viable optiona at the time) But I still root for them and Paige and genius Henry :)

I hope that doesn't happen, but the horror/thriller fan in me appreciates the idea.

I didn't see that coming either, great twist though.

I watched late this week and all I can think of is how amazing this show is. I was terrified for Dylan the entire episode, I can't say that I'm surprised by most remakes these days. But this one consistently shocks me. This could be the best show on tv right now and one of the best final seasons period.

Another great episode! I think the second half of the season has been really solid. The on-going story with the alley raccoons is adorable!

I've been very hard on TWD this year, but I loved the finale. I don't care that the battle was extremely implausible, or that it was silly that Shiva knew exactly who to bite, or that the chances of all of Rick's people surviving is probably zero. I loved it, this show stopped being believable the minute there were

I enjoyed the episode. I didn't remember Cynthia Lee Fontaine at all so that reveal wasn't exciting for me. But I think the right person won and the right person went home.

ditto!

I stopped watching for the same reason, do the same thing with recaps and ratings and also blame Shonda for ruining the characters I once loved. So sad

If that's how you feel, I'm glad I didn't watch through your eyes. She did a lot more than smash some windows, but that part was a highlight for me. Also, she had to be directed and choreographed to do it correctly, which is in fact a part of ACTING.

How exactly do you undo a permanent injury? How have generations of reading helped fade the scars? Slavery was AWFUL and a 400+ year economic and societal race that gave White people a HUGE head start. It still doesn't matter how educated a Black person is, in the eyes of the law, people who want to control Blackness

I think that's part of why the 1998 remake failed. They just redid the original with nothing new. Others have already pointed out that this show has already deviated A LOT from the original, so yes that guy didn't know what he was talking about. I'm just glad AV Club has a block button so I don't have to see his rude

Well that happened. After such a strong opening to season 2, I must admit that was a bit of a let down. It wasn't a bad episode, I've just been spoiled by Harriet Tubman, Rosalee and Ernestine. Noah and Cato aren't as compelling as them in my opinion. I did enjoy Cato's girlfriend, but so much of his story felt rushed

true

Ok cool, in my original post I said "I get that fans who wanted a remake of the original won't love the episode. I LOVE horror and Psycho is one of the best horror movies of all time. That sounds perfect :)

I loved that part too, we all "knew" what was coming, but she didn't deserve to die. I was proud of Norman for forcing her out and that he can do the right thing sometimes. I'm glad the writers killed Sam instead.

I agree

Yup!
