ZMF and GLut at least put some thought into what they do, and they make me laugh. Unlike Ben Stiller fans.

Peter Berg
Really? For some reason whenever I see his name attached to something as a director I feel the need to take notice. Not that any of his movies have been all that great. Just more of a curiosity, really.

Yes cool guys. We all know you do.

Another one I didn't see coming
I was never a huge fan of "The English Patient." A lot of people I talk to say it was the best book to film adaptation they have ever seen, but I think the book was infinitely better. Well filmed, just not entertaining in the slightest.

Soft Spot
I have a soft spot for the new "smoother" Snoop. It is a different form of overproduction, but that doesn't necessarily make it a bad thing. Anything to keep "Starsky and Hutch 2" from getting made.

The respect he deserves
Will someone please give this man the respect he thinks he is due? I mean, the guy…

Sweet delicious jesus
I saw the first one without even having seen a trailer for it or even hearing about it. I rented one night with walking though Blockbuster drunk with my old roommate.

The Late Shift
I put my vote in for the woefully dated, but still somewhat relevant, "The Late Shift" by Bill Carter. I only read it recently (and have not seen the HBO original movie), and it makes me wonder just how much things have really changed behind the scenes of late night talk shows over the past 15 years or

I'm sure Jay Mohr has an interesting story to tell when you look at what he has done, but I think that failed mostly because Jay Mohr is just dreadful enough on his own.

You can find them here in the states, but they are usually sold in shady gift shops located along the highway. There are plenty of shitty athlete autobiographies and hatchet jobs for people no one ever cared about or even bothered to remember.

Oddly enough, I think that book might be too good even for this column. It was actually one of the best show-biz books I think I have ever read.

Rachael Ray stirs shit like she stirs pots
She probably likes The Decemberists, too.

Why so serious?
He really didn't say a hell of a whole lot, and he kind of talked in a circle.

I guess the main reason I never read them is because I felt both books could be summed up in a paragraph or less. They almost seem anecdotal today.

Holy Hell
This was a pretty shitty week. The worst part of it is that it reminded me Carlos Mencia still exists.

Sinclair
I was hospitalized in 2001 for about a month, and one of my friends brought me Oil and The Jungle from his house since he got them as gifts and didn't want them.

End of Days
Well that is as unholy an alliance as I have seen in quite some time, but a Bright Eyes/Don DeLillo musical would be a thousand times worse.

Ok, I admit it. I'm drunk.

I thought this was the hater?
Pretty light on the hate. In fact, I didn't even really see any "hate" at all.

If LTR had stated his case with only the last last part of your comment, I probably would have respected it a hell of a lot more
