Come on! You had the perfect setup for "speak on that" from Hollywood Handbook!

I was worried I would be hungry this afternoon having forgotten my lunch but you have up and solved that problem for me. Thanks!

To be fair, Dan, all of us fans know the gents of the Flop House get around (cat sound). So you may have inadvertently infected dicks in your time.

Whenever I need to study/concentrate, I load up the Fable soundtrack. I also usually play it during the Thanksgiving->Christmas period. Odd, that. I think there's just something about the mood it evokes.

His episode with Amy Poehler on CBB was incredible so to have him have the show all by himself - oh boy. He is so damn quick. Here's how good he is: I barely know who Tom Leykis is (never listened to his show) and I love Adomian's parody. *far too long air raid siren*

I think you make very valid points. What are your opinions on the episodes with her Wild Horses teammates? Also, your opinion on A Li'l Dab'll Do Ya? I like the Dabney Coleperson CBB episode (mostly for Jason M giving Scott crap).

True. But no one forced LL to do the podcast this way! I really have enjoyed her on CBB but the full-length format shows the shallowness of her characters. Most of them aren't very well thought out and she has about four voices she can draw from.

Let's agree that Matt Gourley is just a delight and that even when the guest is weak or crazy (exorcist) that he remains super listenable, charming, and funny. I'm not sure I've heard O'Halloran's appearance (Superman maybe?) but I think sometimes people don't know what to do in that situation. I'm not sure I'd know

I half agree. I thought the Tom Leykis (James Adomian) episode was one for the ages. I've listened to that about 4 times. I think because he actually had a concept for the show and treated it as though it were his show. He took it and ran with it (it was basically Adomian's audition for his own show… which he should

Great synopsis. That was a really rough listen. Just four people desperately trying to be funny. It was an episode covered in flop sweat.

LeaveTheBronx covered this well, but let me ask a followup: do you like the Lauren Lapkus podcast? Because, after hearing just one Womp It Up episode, I have far more faith in Jessica St. Clair being focused and funny than Lapkus.

That's the funny thing about opinions - I had the exact opposite reaction. I found the dude from Goodfellas to be… well, let's just say he spun quite a tale (that I didn't believe). I love Groundhog Day and loved hearing about the process.

The first three shots in the trailer look terrible! (One is the still above) These are the first three images chosen to advertise this product. As MTM said above, it immediately took me back to FMV game days!

Agree to disagree, Salamanders. If you line up a version playing backwards and layer it over a version playing forward you can clearly tell it is Kubrick describing the need for a national suicide prevention hotline (and also the creation of the 1-800 number system).

TV is small movies. I think if you were to have me over to continue this discussion I could really fan out on it.

I think you forgot

While I love PFT's humor, after listening to several of his podcast appearances he does appear to have a rather high opinion of himself.  I mean, yes, he is very talented, but I think his feeling are hurt every time someone says Patton Oswalt or Louis CK is the king of comedy.  I think he thinks he's the very best.

I listened to it for the first time this past weekend and I agree.  Outside of the one guy who keeps laughing at the most inappropriate times, there's not much funny here.  It is very compelling, in terms of hearing the audience (outside of the one guy, again) coming to terms with the fact she isn't joking and it is

Now I'm so angry I have flames on the side of my face.
