Agreed. I thought it was the weakest or… most off?… of the three. Of the three, it is the only one I've seen only once (but in the theater!)

1985 is super strong (BTTF alone) but I'd argue 1982 for Blade Runner and The Thing.

Yes. Many (All?) electric cars have a fixed, single-speed gearbox. The Chevy Volt (on electricity) and the Tesla Model S use a single gear. This article may help explain why:

Climbing the Tower of Dawn - Prince of Persia, Sands of Time
A game that is normally very good about incremental difficulty increases (based on you learning new skills/moves) suddenly gives you this long climbing section complete with very difficult jumps and numerous birds attacking you. Super frustrating. I've

This may surprise you, but a lot of Doug's personality is based around a single… ahem… substance. I don't want to spoil it, but if you listen to enough of his stuff, you may figure it out.
(You'll find out that the substance is "insufferableness")

You realize he had a rictus, right?

It wasn't a carabiner that failed but a buckle. (Source: Guy who has scene the movie too many times)

Yes, I've seen almost all the Stallone films. First Blood is great (though oddly humorous too, like the tone is all over the place - I'm thinking of the scene where they have him surrounded in the cave). But what makes Cliffhanger great, in my mind, is that it comes post full-on Cheese Stallone, he of Rambo III and

FALSE!

I heard, from a climber, that a very talented climber died on set doing a stunt and that is why many hate it. Any truth to that?

Totally worth seeing. And that trailer (above) has held up super well as an example of a "show, don't tell" trailer.

This may be my favorite action movie. It's certainly my favorite Stallone movie. For whatever reason (likely the fact I was 13 when this came out) I love this movie. There aren't too many action movies involving mountains, climbing, and snow, which sets this one apart. It's far better than The Eiger Sanction.

You and I might be the only two people who don't like LL. Her podcast is unlistenable (outside of the Intern Gino and James Adomian episodes)

I thought I was the first person to come up with this! I call it a "Happy Larrybirdday"

Also, were I famous and rich, the only thing I'd use this power for would be to put Gourley (and, heck, the rest of Superego) in EVERY MOVIE and TV SHOW FOREVER

Holy crap, it is Christmas come early. My favorite podcaster and maybe favorite human, Matt Gourley.

Easily my least favorite CBB guest, including Li'l Gary. Horatio Sanz: Wasn't Funny on SNL but Check Him Out Now… He's Older!

I listen to a lot of the ones you listen to and have also dropped DLM. I'd recommend Hollywood Handbook (and the Reality Show Show - download both archives while you still can!). Movie Fighters I've started, which is another bad movie podcast. Ask Me Another and Dead Author's Podcast (very inconsistent).

Again, my recollection is hazy, but I remember an entire episode about the defense not using… maybe Asia?… and going down a rabbit hole with that. It just fundamentally missed how criminal trials work and the factors a defense considers. I know she discussed some of it but she seemed to want to hold on to these little

Agreed!
