If you have time to kill, Plants v. Zombies is excellent. I prefer the computer version to the iPod/iPhone version, but mostly because I the bonus content. I wasted away hours on it while studying for the bar. A good play-for-five-minutes-then-get-back-to-life game.

Gemcraft
I love TD games. I've played nearly all of them since Desktop TD (or whatever the very flash-based one was called). The Gemcraft series is basically the pinnacle of Tower Defense.

Agreed. It has awesome stunt work and sweet practical effects. I like mountain climbing movies (for some reason), but this compared to, say, Vertical Limit, shows the power of actually filming someone climbing a mountain versus greenscreening it.
