See, I think his voice ruins what is otherwise a (fully-agreed) lush and even beautiful production on "Tonight". He should have remembered what Vig knew, and what his shoegazing influences knew - you need to partially-submerge that vocal, especially when you have a voice like that. I'm not a Corgan hater by any

Look , maybe Stan went native with the white supremacists, and his boss John-Boy grew up amongst the hill folk, what do you expect?

I liked that the killer made Philip and swung first.

Agreed, I noticed it even before she turned to him when they were spooning and noted it just above (sorry should have scrolled down farther).

He kind of looks like Malcolm McDowell to me.

I didn't even notice that he directed the ep, but the scene at the very end when Philip is spooning Elizabeth and we are watching her face as he tells her he has another son was one of the most beautifully-composed and -lit shots of lovers in that pose I think I have ever seen. Upvoted for use of "stone cold turkey".

I've said this before, but this is a song that reliably makes me tear up, no matter how many times I have heard it (thousands, probably), and a big part of that is the sheer perfection of these two voices alternately pulling against each other, and then joining - Bowie's cool emotional reserve, contrasted against

Between this and the Cheap Trick piece, Gwen's taking us on a tour of the vocalist giants of classic rock.

Conflating Hoffman and heroin addiction with MDMA, a relatively safe substance (if pure and taken in reasonable doses by someone in good health under decent conditions, and which is generally not very physically habit-forming), is a category error.

The guy behind the guy, behind the guy, buddy.

Please tell me that's part of a "Boney Maroney" reference…

Colonnade Conflagration

I heard his new single, "My Single is Dropping", is dropping.
