I like drone in general and nearly all the bands you list here, but for some reason Sunn O just bored me to tears (Monoliths and Dimensions was the one I got).

I realize I'm late to the party, but Black Mirror finally came to Netflix and I am 3 eps in, and it's fantastic, really well-done and thought-provoking (and super, super dark).

It's OK. Let it all out, my son.

Confession, however belated, is like toilet paper for the conscience.

Scrotum? I don't even know 'im!

Yes, in those "in-between" years, you might say The Shocker was "tainted".

I see what you did there (the fact that it's "digital" works about two more ways.)

Leprechaun not included.

I'd say The Shocker is a credible threat even today, depending on the situation.

Let's Cee how Lo this goes!

Yeah, I really like that take on the song - Bradford Cox taking the high road on the melody/harmony sounds so natural, and Jim Jarmusch's earnest effort (and Cox's generosity and encouragement at the end) is really touching to me for some reason.

I get the keyboards at the end of it stuck in my head for days. It took me forever to figure out the exact rhythm of it.

Yeah, this.

Upvoted, while downvoting my very soul.

Hey, get over it already, Billy Corgan.

My brother told me that Frank Black said that "Dig For Fire" (great tune) was his attempt at a Talking Heads song.

Awesome. I never knew there were others. Exile is good, but Fingers just has so much variety.

I'm just an old fart, but Deerhunter is one of the few contemporary indie-rock bands that is fit to slot next to its influences/predecessors (SY, Pixies, Pavement, etc.) They have yet to make a bad record. Did you ever see this?:

I think it's hilarious that they have not one, but TWO DIFFERENT B-sides about manta rays.

Aw, "Tony" is silly and short, so it doesn't bother me.
