@avclub-d69768b3da745b77e82cdbddcc8bac98:disqus - is their hit "Little Pink Showers"?
I've been listening to a pretty-good shoegaze revival band from Austin named "Ringo Deathstarr". Top that awfulness of a name!
They need to do a GtG for my beloved Spacemen 3, to prevent newbies from buying the same songs over and over again.
Well, them and the JAMC - the twin poles of shoegaze, dreamy and pretty on one end, and harsh and noisy on the other. Male/female. Light/dark.
ToT rocked.
"All in My Mind" is great (as is "Dog-End")
"Haunted" is def. good too.
"So Alive" is terrible. It's the "She Don't Use Jelly" of Love & Rockets.

If you can't get good sex advice from a @avclub-eaf402eeb9124200ac5a79cbc3355d72:disqus , where can you get it?
In "Savage Love" comment threads, you may not want to use the word "evacuate"….

You're right that it's not an "all-killer-no-filler" deal (ha!) but the little fragments and tangents are part of what make it such a great patchwork of an album. Not every song on "Bee Thousand" is great if you isolate it, but all together, it is a singular experience front-to-back.
It's held up. A great record, and far weirder musically than most others that reach that level of popularity.
I believe the correct term is "Jigro-Americans".
I'm beginning to think you don't even know where your territory is…
I think you mean:
