You're growing on me, Elegant Victorian Lady. (Even though this is the least Victorian-y response yet. Get with it, toots.

It's spectacular, for a few reasons (no spoilers):

You thought right. Sinistar is quite zee outlier here. If Supernatural could make it work through 5 seasons — and still on occasion now in season 36 — Justified should be able to get at least a couple more seasons in without jumping the shark.

As much as I love Quarles and the idea of him returning with some ridiculously blinged out hand cannon for an arm, bringing him back organically would be…a stretch.

I guess that's the beauty of ambiguity: Without knowing whether Nicky ordered Picker and Co. to kill Raylan, their lack of response upon exiting the vehicle needn't necessarily imply to Nicky that he had been ignored.

Seriously. I feel Tim's frustration every time Raylan opens his awesome-fucking-mouth; I cannot even imagine how sick Winona is of Raylan. Art's basically a kindergarten teacher surrounded by kids with anger issues and proficiency with firearms.

Already in the works.

What do you suppose Nicky's plan was when he entered that limo? I mean I guess the easy answer is he thought he was about to fly to Detroit like he said to take Sammy unawares, only to be ambushed by Sammy. Which works, I guess, if this show wasn't so awesome and I didn't expect more.

He better have gotten himself some preferential treatment for the heir-apparent…oh wait. No really, I forget: Did Dickie die when Raylan gut shot him? Or is my chronology messed up and he's just back in jail after that amazing Dickey Crowe send-off?

No disagreement here. His acting as Shane is indeed qualitatively better than his acting in Justified, I think. Shane could have easily been nothing more than some hick with a chip on his shoulder and daddy issues, but Goggins really made it all work. Here, it's easier for Goggins to be awesome because his character

That's fucking terrific. It's funny you say that after this particular episode: During the gravestone scene I started mulling over in my head whether I could ever convince my future wife to OK that name.

While I don't know if I'd personally go as far as "turn[ed] on," the dude's got gravitas. Cannot think of a character I'd rather be in real life, warts and all, bar billionaire playboys and such.

I may have some misgivings in re Nicky's hit — did Nicky just expect to outgun Sammy? I'm not sure what Nicky's play was there at all — but let's get it straight: I was hooting and hollering and laughing out loud at points. This show's fucking awesome.

1) Relax. Boyd got half of the heroin trade in Kentucky. Dem hillbillies love themselves some of that stuff; he's gonna be one rich dude, so not a total loss. Also, Yost loves the Ava character, so things will work themselves out. Plus, she's alive and Boyd's got the money for Johnny Cochran.

Boyd and Duffy teaming up? We've got ourselves a Wynn-win situation. Raylan just being Raylan and orchestrating high-level mob hits without actually having to do much? OH FUCK YEAH.

I was of a similar mind when the show began with a cold open prior to the credits. I'm 99% sure this is the first time GoT has done that. And I have no complaints, other than the fact that I had gotten used to the previous ordering.

Points for "quim-essential" pun. Bravo.

This and Justified make me positively giddy with excitement. They may not be the "best" shows on television, but surely they are the two from which I derive the most enjoyment.

Yes, it was.

Seconded in re Debbie being a breakout star. However, I have to disagree about Mandy, who's just doing what she thought was — and likely is — necessary.
