Why can't TV show writers realize that having kids ruins everything, on TV shows too.

How exactly can you kill one of these mirikuru'd things? Sara said she was about to kill Roy but could she have done that? I feel like we don't really know how you could put one of them down, beside "arrow through the eye" being on the doesn't work list.

I feel like because of that title alone I should have figured someone important was going to die, but they side tracked me by wondering why the episode wasn't more about Roy and what's with this whole baby flashback.

Hush-like episode of Veep! Make it happen world!

1. So now Vicky is in whatever place Katherine is in that you get sucked up backwards into, right?
2. I'm over the triangle as well. I liked her with Damon more but the rehashing of the same discussion at the end of this episode made me want to see Elena not with either Salvatore bro.
3. Are we shipping this Enzo &

Yeah I immediately thought of Roy once they started talking about Slade being weakened by using his own blood. Then I forgot about it for a bit and then when Arrow was in the room i was like, yup that's the top of Roy's head. BUT since they unplugged Roy, Slade did have to hook himself up at bit to the blood machine

Yeah it's definitely not required before starting but probably independently worth watching just because.

I guess I feel the need to publicly declare I'm very excited AV Club is covering FNL, can't wait to rewatch again. I couldn't even get through reading this without queuing up the pilot!

Exactly, this is the part I don't understand at all this is a sitcom! Get those moderately young adults back on that couch make them look young and silly, hell aging up the rest of the cast already looks ridiculous so who cares if the kids skew too old. It felt like they were bragging a bit that they'd shot the

I spent the last day or so revisiting some old favorite HIMYM episodes because I'm a sucker for nostalgia and I'm laid up from knee surgery. I don't think this retroactively ruins the series for me but it probably will have an effect/affect (Marshall which is it?!?) on how I look back at some episodes now. Maybe

Is it too much to hope that by the end of this season Charlotte only exists INSIDE Javier's tablet as the Char-vatar?

I hope they soap opera age him and he's 12 years old next week.

I didn't see the "Someday" as foreshadowing that he was going to die, but more of a "yeah we all are", and a reaffirmation of his someone always has to pay mentality in just beating that guy up even if he's connected. Plus the 1/2 smirk on Veronica's face after he says that is just perfect.

I'm interested to see how much of the B plot is in the book(s) though. It does pick up right after the movie. I'm guessing it's going to have to deal with those issues to some extent even though the main mystery is a girl gone missing on spring break. There's an excerpt online here (http://bit.ly/1def4Ed)

I see Veronica's arc over the movie as realizing that the New York/ Law firm job/ Piz might have been a path that she didn't realize entirely how she ended up heading down. Or maybe that she had gotten to a place, as people sometimes do, where you've taken all the "right" steps, Stanford, Columbia law, top of your

I think that I think the VM movie feels worthwhile in and of itself but I do want to see it succeed even bigger and come back in movies or some series format. That would make the whole kickstarter thing seem really really really worth it.

I agree with this as well. In the case of VM it was definitely worth it. As a backer this was pretty much the movie I wanted to see. Now the next movie that can be a completely different movie and we can just keep the core characters around.

and let us not forget he was Keith approved!

Yeah "fan service" sounds ugly and I don't think that's all we can ask for, I trust Rob Thomas way more than that.

I would like to see Rowan Kaiser review the movie just since he reviewed the series on here.
