I caught LOONEY TUNES: BACK IN ACTION on cable and I kinda liked it, too.  Liked it a whole lot more than SPACE JAM with its generic round-up of Monstars.  Joe Dante seemed like the perfect fit… and I was braced because I hadn't heard many good things… but I really liked it.

I almost missed the premiere entirely because I guess I don't watch a lot of CBS shows — and SURVIVOR changes its goddamn name every goddamn season so my goddamn DVR won't automatically record it when a new season begins because it's only programmed to record new goddamn episodes of "SURVIVOR: HEROES VS VILLAINS".

I missed the first hour of the show but it's funny how the show always has the same look, no matter what country it's set in.  Jungle, beach, ocean.  The initial names of the tribes and the culture-based rewards are the only things which underline the country.
