I love Part 2 but I really think the Saga cut hurts it. It creates a much more straightforward epic narrative in which we watch Vito from a small child to his death and he's intentionally a much more charismatic and outward character than Michael. By the time you get to the long, long stretches of Michael giving in

That might actually be the best scene Romero ever directed. It does so much to tell you how far society has already collapsed and some of the dialogue is actually really funny if you can catch it.

Decent cover, though he doesn't put the wonderful sweet/sour spin on the lyrics that Dolly does.

Lucy Lawless, open homosexuality, ancient times, ludicrous but highly entertaining tone = Spartacus. Go watch it. It and she are delightful, if almost psychotically violent.

Well, I imagine Willow at least is still pretty peeved about Tara getting killed off and leaving her with no better option than Kennedy.

And a great Bernard Herrmann score.

Because it's witty and fun and the main character is actually kind hearted and experiences genuine personal growth.

Lackawanna Blues was so good. Merkerson deserved every award she won for it.

You get to choose between "Team Peeta" and "Team Gale." Team Gale seems to have an advantage in the looks and charisma department but ultimately just stands in an endless line for a ride that will never come. Team Peeta gets to go to the bakery, bake bread, and decorate cakes.

Just used the Criterion sale to buy Soderbergh's King of the Hill. Hadn't seen it in years but damn is that movie great and with one of the best juvenile performances I have ever seen.

I stopped watching TVD but I'm glad they finally gave Kat Graham something to do. She always got stuck in the worst plots.

You know, having Chris Pine be the first man you've ever seen close up is really going to screw up your expectations for what the average guy looks like.

Three of them are good-to-great. Baby Daddy and Young & Hungry are both awful but feature incredibly attractive young people, so that fits with most of the rest of the list. I have no nostalgia for Full House at all, though, so have no idea why Fuller House gets love.

Dylan O'Brien was on about three episodes of Teen Wolf this year. The entire plot of the last half season was his disappearance from reality. Maybe pick someone who, you know, is actually ON the show they're on?

Jimmy Olsen, Handsome CIA Operative (for some reason)

Oh, I'm not interested in winning anything. I have never seen a political movement so hostile to rational disagreement. I just enjoy mocking them.

So I'm a snowflake for being alarmed at the rise in violence towards queer communities but you get triggered by a statue on a trillion pieces of merchandise already? You poor baby.

Snyder is capable of creating a great shot, even when he's not directly copying a comic book panel. I hated Batman v. Superman so, so much but there are shots in that movie that are absolutely stunning. They just don't connect to characters or coherent ideas.

I would fire the guy for that memo just based on his inability to weigh evidence, consider objections, put the larger issues into perspective, construct a coherent train of thought, and lots of other things you expect from a highly paid professional in that industry. Even putting aside the hateful and hostile

I had almost forgotten that horrible self-righteous troll who somehow became a hero of the supposed law and order crowd by refusing to, you know, follow the law or do her job. Troll isn't meant as a slur on her appearance, by the way - more a wish that she would go guard a bridge in some forest far, far away.
