Doesn't that make this the list of movies with the fewest redeeming qualities? I'd say that makes them the worst. A film that is 90% terrible and 10% brilliant is better than a film that is completely mediocre because you're not getting anything out of it.

That's a pretty sweeping generalization and a cop-out. "Someone's going to suffer anyway" doesn't mean you shouldn't do what you can to reduce, or at least not directly support the oppression of people (or animals, if you're so inclined).
