I was gonna say, wasn't there already a sitcom where Reba played a divorcee?

Isn't Grey's Anatomy still on the air? Is it somehow worse than Grey's Anatomy, because I can't even conceptualize that.

You misspelled "Dawes"

The Rangers/Angels game is in rain delay, despite this being the EPIC PITCHING MATCHUP OF THE WEEK OF THE CENTURY. This sucks.

I don't come to DS9 for that, but if I get that, I'm not too disappointed, because I know there's thoughtful stuff coming down the pipeline. I would say it's more like "food you don't have to savor" or "beer that you don't have to analyze the mouthfeel of" or "just plain ordinary sex."

I guess I just don't see that. Sarandon is so much fun to watch in this episode. I do see the point about the Bashir/O'Brien plot going nowhere. But it's not as though that plotline dies in this episode: it gets developed continually throughout the series.

Also, there is some great dialogue in this, like the conversation between Quark and Sisco over the new establishment: (paraphrased) "I have an exclusive agreement to run gambling on the promenade!" "A few bribes to the Cardassian government is not an exclusive agreement." "When you arrived, you begged me to stay." "As

I just have to register my complaint that you are completely wrong about Rivals. No, it's not the greatest episode of all time, but it's fun. It's a one-night-stand of an episode: it doesn't really advance anything, but it provides 44 minutes of fun that you don't have to think about too much during or after.

That's how I feel, too. There are much better Quark episodes, and much better Odo episodes, but these are both better than several of the surrounding eps.

Since I can never get on to comment on DS9 before it's all rap battles, I just want to say that Rivals is a really fun episode and The Alternate is pretty good to, and in both cases, the episode is largely carried by strong guest starring, most notably Chris Sarandon (who you'll remember from his appearances as a

The street where Eddie Murphy picked up a transexual prostitute?

You're thinking Ron Washington

Also on tonight, Josh Hamilton either hits four more homeruns against the Os or else he strikes out swinging at a pick-off attempt and then runs into the centerfield wall full force while trying to run down a ball that Andrus has already caught and turned a double play with. It could really go either way with this guy.

So which one is a link to a picture of Todd's junk?

Don't worry, Dieselpunk is still available.

I'm going to try to pick Todd's pockets.

I haven't taken the time to read all the comments. I'm assuming I'm the first one to mention that one broke girl's boobs, right?

The Rangers are looking pretty exhausted, too: they had to battle 11 innings just to keep from being swept by Cleavland. This could be an ugly series.

The Rangers definitely need a solid, solid win tonight. And it sucks, because I actually want Baltimore to keep winning. Maybe it will be another 30 run game for the Rangers?

It's aesthetically pleasing, but from the perspective of someone who actually reads and understands Old English, it's virtually worthless.
