I work in academia, and I absolutely dread seeing tenure displayed on TV by people who have absolutely no concept of what it is and what it means.

I'm afraid to go back and watch any of these, because I loved this show so much as a kid. My parents were not very pro-TV: in terms of prime time, it was the news, Wheel of Fortune, Father Dowling, and this show, which I sold them on via an article in 321 Contact magazine about the science behind this show.

I was initially underwhelmed by this year's Face Off, but it's gotten better. I watched one episode of RCL, expecting it to be dumb and possibly fun. It was dumb, but also incredibly boring.
