I agree - I thought his solo tonight was pretty lackluster.  If you are going to be a weak technical dancer, I think you really have to wow in your style.  I sincerely hope that it's Cyrus going home next week.

Aw, Chehon's been growing on me too and I think his solos are amazing, even if they are all jumpy twisty bits.

I remember not liking Jen much when this initially aired, but on rewatch I actually enjoy her character.

Her matrial gets better in seasons 2 and 3 for sure. In season 1, she's basically a plot device to keep Dawson and Joey apart. I think that Pacey and Jen really come alive as characters in the back half of season 2. I find Dawson and Joey much less likable this time around.

Shafeek was one of the few hip-hop/B-boys that I think might do well when we get to partnering.  He definitely had a lot of musicality and control in his body that should translate well to contemporary dance/jazz/lyrical jazz.
