Katsuji was extremely hateable this episode, but he did give me one of my favorite moments - the bit of Emily stumbling through Spanish at the grocery store and then cut to Katsuji fluently getting everything that John needed. I know Katsuji is the villain but I disliked Emily more - perhaps due to her gross

Wow, I seem to be in the minority here but I found this episode to be one of Modern Family's weakest outings. The only scene I enjoyed was the capper on the lunch scene with the crickets. Ty Burrell is the MVP of this show.

The pellet with the poison's in the flagon with the dragon! The vessel with the pestle has the brew that is true!

I watch! Not same day, but at some point during the week. This turned into one of my favorite shows last season and I'm glad to see it get picked up by Hulu. More of Mindy's parents!

When someone just leaves without saying goodbye to anyway - they just disappear.

It will be interesting to see Asif next week. I wonder if he had less time to practice than the others. He didn't impress me in Vegas but I'm willing to give him one more week.

When I was a kid and was home from school, sick, one of the things I looked forward to most was watching Price is Right.

I keep hoping that there will be something that will happen that will force Alicia to give up the SAs office. I am not looking forward to this change of the status quo - and how will it differ from beats that have already happened? Alicia has already opposed Cary and Diane at times in the court room. This would just

Yay, Grimm reviews are back!

No mention of Alicia and Johnny's kiss outside of yet another elevator?

I loved this episode, but the only thing that bothered me was the idea that Danny didn't consider he and Mindy a family before she was pregnant. I think a lot of people don't see childless couples as "family" and it bugs the crap out of me. It's just a different type of family unit. Okay, rant over - just one sour

Is it usually canned on Chopped? I think I've seen it fresh on Chopped, but maybe I'm misremembering.

But sous chefs were decided by quick fire win. Any of the other chefs could have had a Mexican sous chef!

I completely agree. Based on the quick fire order, Doug still may have gotten stuck with Escamole though!

Is huitlacoche really equivalent to escamole? I've had huitlacoche many times at Mexican restaurants (I love it!) and Mei clearly knew the product. Doug had no idea what escamoles were and I've never seen it at a restaurant in America. Dougie got the shaft.

Well, apparently they are traditionally served with eggs - katsuji had to tell Doug that. And he also told Doug that they were essentially Mexican caviar in the market. I was surprised that Doug didn't just sprinkle some over to top at his tortilla at the end.

Understandably! Stupidest finale idea ever. I like it so much more when they just have to cook a three course meal based on meaningful memories.

I would not have expected Melissa to be the front runner either. She was towards the middle/bottom leading up to this last stretch of episodes where she is on a roll. There's (at least) one more elimination in Mexico, and I'm pulling for a Mei/Doug/Gregory last group. Mostly I just want to see Mei and Doug duke it

No, Kristin vs. Brooke (?) was an all female finale.

If only Katsuji were still there. We would get Mexican style beans with 20 ingredients added.
