Yeah, I really enjoyed this episode. I think I'm finally getting into the swing of this show. It's not a problem for me that they don't wrap up the sketches up in a bow at the end. JBs comedy style is more about the journey than the destination. I'm really going to miss it when it's cancelled.

Stella, Dog Bites Man, and Upright Citizens Brigade are the only three I can think of that I wished went on longer. Are there any others? Feel like they've put on a lot of crap, actually.

I accept your apology in advance, and in lieu of reading anything you wrote afterwards.

I saw him a few weeks ago. It was an incredible show, one of the best I've ever seen, but Pecknold probably said 'thanks' close to 400 times. I found it annoying.

yeah, this reminds me of Michael Jordan, and the time he made an electronica album.

I loved Dark Night of the Soul too, but I'm not sure he had too much to do with how that turned out musically.

Well, maybe I can call my friend Lenny Kravitz. He's only half urban, will that help?

@geo greg - yeah, kinda, so?

Am I the only one who loved that record?

I have seen both recently multiple times and they were great.

Pavement and Pixes?
Doesn't Chuck know that they both are together and have been touring again, or is he slagging them off for not creating any new music?

no thanks

what about Gogol Bordello?

Neon Bible is my favorite too

In Dischord's Defense
That Medications record they put out last year was great.

yeah, plus it leaked like a week ago. I like it, but its not as consistently awesome as Dear Science.

I don't know, I mean how do you cover a pop song without it sounding pop?

You should've kept that Kramer w/ Floyd Rose. The singer from Twin Shadow (indie buzzband) was playing one on-stage the other day. They're making a comeback, apparently.

the only thing worse than DLR lyrics
