If that's true I'm puzzled by the "My Bloody Valentine covering New Order" description. To me that sounds like it would be upbeat, driving and somewhat poppy but also noisy. I would actually quite like to hear that record.

I wonder if AMC pressure to cut down on the cast played a part in why they got rid of Kinsey and Sal
it pains me to say this but
I'm really surprised at the universal love for this record. Granted I only listened a couple times but I was pretty disappointed.
DON'T KILL YOURSELF
@NummyMuffinCookooButter - not a bad idea, but one problem with that is that there are legitimate reasons you might need to sell or give a ticket to someone else, like if something comes up and you can't make it to the show. Although, allowing refunds could solve that (and then on the day of sold out shows they could…
It is pretty weird that NO ONE except scalpers would get tickets during the regular sale, and that seems to have been the case. Is it possible though that Ticketmaster funneled the tickets directly to the secondary market without the knowledge of the promoters or at least without James Murphy knowing what was going…
Leto, definitely check out 'Let's Dance'. I love all those weirdo albums too, but 'Let's Dance' is one of my all time favorite Bowie records and it's very accessible.
I think that Let's Dance was his last truly great Bowie album, but there are some good songs here on there on all the post-Dance albums. I'm one of the few who really likes 'Little Wonder' off Earthling.
Badmotorfinger is pretty much better than anything
only problem with Showtime is that they have not produced a single good show.
ryan1, I totally agree with you. I feel like he knows what good music is and could make it if he wanted to, but churns out crap instead because that's what sells. Then he does this marginally subversive shit like turn down Glee to appeal to his frat bro fan base.
I don't know what you're talking about. I just like DC punk music. sorry to douche up your thread guys.
Scream was the best band he was in.

Manta Ray
So there's this song on the Pixies Complete B-sides called "Manta Ray" that credits David Lynch as its 'composer' in my Windows Media Player.

Achebe's Things Fall Apart?
The Cliff Notes must've left out all the football parts.
I started with Kavalier and Clay and that worked for me.
