I get why a band might want to do a cover like this live, but if you're going to all the trouble to record a cover, why would you record a version that's exactly like the original?

I downvoted your comment and I won't tell you why.

and that's why all his records sound like crap

Jazzy Jeff? oh wait, no I'm sorry.  I forgot that his first name is D.J.

I don't want to sound like a hippie, but maybe taking the economic incentive out of making records would improve the art rather than hurt it.  If you can show a direct relationship between how much a record costs to make and how good it is then I'll stand corrected but with the democratization of recording technology,

I always just thought saying "I could care less" was obviously sarcasm since taken literally it wouldn't really mean anything.  I guess they don't have sarcasm in England or wherever.

Oh, I bet he "took the white" from Renly many times.  In a manner of speaking.

I love both shows, but yeah it's a weird transition to immediately go from a fast paced high stakes show to a slow burning one.  I'm thinking I should put off watching M.M. until Monday night.

I'm afraid he'll never be right again.  All he'll have from now on is what little is left.

I only needed one pump

@avclub-9ff7c9eb9d37f434db778f59178012da:disqus  weren't you also the piece of shit who purposely spoiled the Red Wedding for everyone (including myself) because you were butthurt that someone called you out for being an annoying douche on the newbie review?  (forgive me if that wasn't you, but I think it was)

yeah, we don't really have a POV character in the books yet that can effectively be a window into how ambitious and manipulative she is, so she's more ambiguous at this point in the text.

and it's also, ehhhhhhhhh what the fuck?

a murse could also be a male nurse.  too confusing.

eh, perhaps Morrissey's career has been more consistent but that's only because he's never really stretched out and done anything different than he always has.  Besides some cosmetic production differences, any of the songs on any of his albums would not feel very out of place on any of his other albums.  Morrissey is

Is it really so strange? I think I recall there being some kind of bad blood dating back to when Morrissey was supposed to open for Bowie on the Outside tour.  I think Bowie wanted to have the opening set transition seamlessly into his set, so he and members of his band would take the stage and kinda jam with

It's weird but it's almost like it feels like he should be underrated, but in reality I think that pretty much everyone who appreciates the Smiths holds him in as high regard as they ought to.

I think this is the only solo Marr track out there (unless there's a leak I haven't found), but on Spotify you can check out Johnny Marr + The Healers' album Boomslang (2003) , which is musically pretty decent but unspectacular.  FWIW Ringo's son plays drums on it.
