I didn't hear about that, but that sounds cool. If not them I'm thinking Japandroids or Les Savy Fav could do a good job.

yeah, getting some of the most talented and respected young artists to cover their songs is just a spit in the face of all those awesome bands you opened for.

who the fuck are you and why didn't you post anything good?

I wonder

Mainstream radio has sucked for a really long time and I'm not really sad because I just ignore it.

Beady Eye interview, mate

Thanks for the youtube link! I was there and totally remember that. Stipe came out earlier that day during Radiohead's set and sang on 'Lucky' if I remember correctly.

yeah, I think the conventional wisdom is that it was a mediocre album

Up is not bad, but probably not in my top 5 because it's a little uneven. Reckoning is probably my all time favorite and then Automatic for the People.

Radiohead did fairly blow my mind at the Tibetan Freedom Concert that year though, but I didn't really get into O.K. Computer until later.

Yeah, I probably spun Cryptic Writings more than any other album that year. The Disintegrators was my jam.

I've always really liked the video for "Just"

I think Timbo means that The King of Limbs is to Hail to the Thief as Amnesiac is to Kid A. I can see his point.
