It's not a V sound, it's a W but pronounced more flatly. English W is pronounced, almost, with an oowa. I get why the German W sounds like a V to the untrained ear but the Germans have distinct sounds for an F, a V and a W so you can't just substitute the V for a W when speaking German.

Did I miss the "beating the shit out of that woman" bit? Her headwound came from slamming her head when she crashed the car to avoid Senor Glowy. He did go on to scare her but violence against her is at worst implied. He could have left her by the side of the road but at least he put her somewhere warmer and drier.

The hallway of my friend's mother's house has a table with a marble top. After we saw Se7en she came home and flashed back to the skin of the Gluttony victim. it took her years to just walk past that table without a cold shiver.

I am disappeared is amazing, one of his best, but not really single-material. he does seem to have a knack for picking the slightly more boring songs as singles lately.
Still, dude's pretty awesome and always fun live.

You should get over to the The Middle comments where you will have your whole worldview upended because @avclub-60ac1337dd425567f906179964e55e96:disqus likes The Middle too. Which is only just as both The Middle and Veep are very good comedies. (Veep is funnier, The Middle has a big heart and funnies)
I said The Middle

It has been mentioned before but how good is Dulé Hill? Always the broad, funny guy, butt of Shawn jokes and then, when Shawn leaves the wedding in the darker timeline Gus offers him his appartment keys and makes that look so real.  Mr Hill should be in so much more, dude's got range.
I liked him as Charlie. I love him

Bassiter?

Amsterdam: Spiritual Home of the Sandwich!

Philippe was also in one of the Vietnam episodes of No Reservations. I think it was the most recent one, but he featured more in this Myanmar ep.

Some of the adoring words that border on the psychotic stalker-y are from letters Robert Smith received from fans. So it's not so much Robert being creepy, he is the 'so perfect.. ' one. Of course, Robert also lies in interviews so this may all be another of his fabrications.Song is exellent though, as is the whole

You are in for a treat!! Cave & Bad Seeds are seriously phenomenal as a live band.
(I hope he will bring the noise on Stagger Lee, last time I saw him play that.. damn, still get goosebumps)

I found her wonderful in this episode. So she's no Meryl Streep but all the hating is unwarranted. Yay Bitsie.

@Kumagoro:disqus Nidaria had only been married for 5 months to mouse-girl, it did seem like he might be the marry-kill-amass wealth type.
I also think that the Ziegenvolk (seriously, who comes up with this shit, Ziege = goat  and Volk = people; so the breed can be Ziegevolk but one of them should just be Ziege) might

Frankie has a tendency to obsess over the wrong things, classic procrastination/responsibility avoiding that goes with her character And although that can be annoying: Sue Heck wins! ——> A

The straightening is an improvement over the style she wore in the last few episodes but I still prefer her hairstyle from the previous seasons

Maybe it's a dig at Pam. She doesn't even have a compact and the only mirror she can find is huge and unwieldy. She was checking to see if the pope still breathed (breath will make the mirror fog up) but he was sleeping like a vampire :)

that's 0 for 2 in two weeks on cars Todd!

I love Dr. Jan Itor but yes, Mike Heck!

Hey Deacon is Amy's former boss and lover! (just caught up with Enlightened)
