If there is a prison sentence, it doesn't bode well for his work visa.
I'm not sure if it had come up but isn't he still an American working in London or does he have a permanent residency?
That's some bleakness ahead for this lovely comedy.

Thoroughly enjoyed this. It's funny, tense, and occasionally nostalgic. Porno is used as a bit of a base for this film but they've taken it in different directions, so having read the book is not a spoiler for the film.

Too bad Baran Bo Odar didn't get to remake a US version of his own very, very good thriller The Silence (Das Letzte Schweigen, with Banshee's own Ulrich Thomsen) which also struck me as gorgeously filmed. So maybe the director is more of a visual guy?
Still, Sleepless sounds like a fun romp.

I don't know any of your mothers but as inappropriate films to watch with Mommy, may I recommend David O. Russell's "Spanking The Monkey" (1994)

He'll just put a Trump sticker on the Rubiks cube, get some cheap ass gold paint, cover the whole thing and claim he made a better, more classy cube.
And then go bankrupt within the year.

Not a word on the music in this masterpiece? Seriously, this film has it all, gorgeous, proper stunning, cinematography, world building, acting, ideas and then wonderful soundtrack. Total package.
This fucking film, you'll keep having flashes of it long after you've seen other stuff. Can't recommend it highly enough.

I love the audiobook for the The Goldfinch. 32+ hours of wonderful listening pleasure. And the story, after a slow start, is just so damn engaging.

Yep, that's what the whole thing felt like. Everybody assuming someone is in a camp because of one thing they've said or done. Which is why it was funny that "Harrison" turns out to be a homophobe and transphobic, because he naturally must be on the LGBTQ page because he is transitioning too.
I think today's lesson

Dying palm tree!
Paperboi is just brilliant right off the dome (sorry, just watched Diamondback say that)

I always found his shtick a bit embarrassing but he was a good actor and, from all accounts, a great guy. (see powergirl below for an example)
Poor guy, to be so aware of how quickly your brain can let you down.
Doubly frightening if you consider how lightning quick he was, you'd think that he might have had a buffer

You'll have all heard it but still, Patton Oswalt's bit on Bob Ross and William Alexander (from Feelin' Kinda Patton)

Adorable were fantastic. All Killer. B-sides as good, sometimes even better, than singles or album tracks. I will go so far as toTL say Fake is a better album than the wonderful Against Perfection. Some of my tinnitus comes from playing Homeboy at unsound volume. It's been a few weeks, I should probably play some

Owl faced lady seems to think that Mack can only be used in context with the Three Penny Opera, and that Word Up and Return of the Mack are somehow from the same time period. The first thing is just her brain being wrong, the second is just wrong as these songs are ten years apart in age and a whole ocean apart in

There are a few good songs on Sam's Town, and their best song to date is the astonishing When You Were Young BUT Brandon tends to sing in keys he can't handle and it makes decent songs sound bad. I can't really listen to that album so Direct Hits is great for my WYWY fixes.

It made watching this quite weird. At one point he's saying "I'm raising a daughter.." and I just felt sad for him because now that's too true.

Apparently, this show was recorded six months ago, which also explains why he's not talking about Bernie or Trump at all.

But you are saying: "Love it or leave it!"
As if the country in which he was born and raised, where his friends and family live, that he loves dearly but sees going down a the wrong path should be abandoned because he also likes other places. He is actively trying to make the US better and trying to skip over all the

if christians actually bothered with the dietary rules of the bible, pork would off the menu too. But BACON > old testament.

Unfortunately those choosing to opt out of paying for healthcare will still receive healthcare in case of emergency. If only you could have them sign something binding that would clarify that they would be left to die if the situation arises because they chose to go it alone. Or they are free to pay up front for the
