Scarlett's song was lovely, and the reactions in the room were suitably impressed.
With no Gunnar Mopely around I guess it's Scarlett & The Fevers now (she can still play with Avery's band probably?)

Tapes. As if Wyclef-I-Am would still work with tapes. All his shittily produced re-imaginings are digital. "I just hittified your country shizzle on my ipad, now worship me"

I bought it, listened to it once, barely could muster the enery to rip it to mp3 on the off-chance I would want to listen to it again. Maybe if I finally get around to it something will click but as it stands it's hardly worth the download. Let's pretend Sessions never happened.

How peerlessly awesome were Adorable!! Agree with @avclub-2cad8fa47bbef282badbb8de5374b894:disqus Fake is even better than the already hips and shoulders (yep, I said hips) above most every album in the 90s Against perfection. Also a band whose b-sides were as good, sometimes better, than their album material.

Weird  how the consensus here seems to be the opposite of the prevailen trend when Are you Normal? came out. I agree that AYN? is great, it seems to have this vibe that carries the whole record but I feel you're selling Godfodder short, it is excellent but maybe it lacks the vibe of AYN?.

If memory serves both Neds and the Stuffs were lumped in the Grebo scene (also MCF, PWEI etc). The Stuffs got a new member on Never Loved Elvis and the sound became much more folky, But they are a phenomenal band. Excellent b-sides, great live band: the total package.

Still love "Cake" just 40 minutes of sheer perfection. After that they still had a lot of good stuff but never quite reached Cake level awesomeness.

Could not agree more, never laughed harder at an episode of Archer. Plus I'm a sucker for dogs so the instant that Kazak might be shot I got really angry at the TV and then really happy when he was OK.
If you need be I'll be looking for a grip, I seem to have lost mine over a friggin' cartoon.

The Pele of anal. That's when I knew this was my kind of show.

and Nay to Pam in a pantsuit, as if she couldn't kick seven kinds of living daylights out of anyone in her usual office get-up

ow that poor creature (and why can't I stop laughing when I even think about it?). A hefty bag of likes for that story.

I guess that's one of the things I loved about this episode, he just softens a little bit because of the dog.

Thanks for that. I had no idea. That makes his mangling of Spanish even funnier.

Hill with shrubs and trees to the left, open fields to the right. I don't think it was a guess.

@avclub-6d8e5be200a835beb77d899f00b890a5:disqus Peter is still funnier, that's how you can tell'em apart.

Owww Terriers!

So you're an armed bankrobber, not averse to a bit of violence. You know the girl will get with the other guy and so you are a fifth wheel. This tenuous position will not last, any idiot will know this. When you realise that your direction of future robbing plans deviates sharply from the lovers vision you decide to

Totally Rammstein! The mrs and I were singing along, arm in arm, coz that's Rammstein for you.
