Matthew Rhys absolutely blew the doors off the joint tonight. That face in church, that stony, I'm-not-even-remotely-in-the-mood-for-this-shit-right-now face?

So far so good.
Todd and I have very different definitions of "don't have a lot to say about it."
No! I refuse to be excited about this.
Not if it was Daniel Day-Lewis. He'd spend two years as a five-year-old daughter in some obscure Irish town, then nail that shit and win an Oscar for it.
I still remember Eddie Redmayne as Jack in the pretty crummy Pillars of the Earth mini-series from a few years ago. I don't recall being terribly impressed by him. Looks like he's put together a nice little career, though.
Accept I didn't say that I didn't like Deadwood. I explicitly said it was an "excellent series," and I expressed a fondness for the language involved. I also said that considering everything I heard about it, I was disappointed in some things, which include such not-entirely-unimportant elements as several characters…
Which is perfectly fine. I'm a guy who lists Aaron Sorkin as one of his favorite writers and wrote a far-too-long blog post defending Sorkin and The Newsroom as worthwhile strictly on the strength and beauty of the language involved. So I'm obviously perfectly OK with what you've just described.
I'm rooting for you, Maggie. I want only good shows and good reviews in your future.
"Claudia sends her regards from The Millers . She also says:
I was a big fan of the first season and I am, of course, terribly excited for its return tonight.
Yahtzee's best taken as a comedian with a very narrow subject matter and particular shtick. His videos are hilarious, and that's really all I ask of him.
I sort of expected the headline to be "Ken Levine Announces Closing of Irrational Games, Intent to Make More Games That Won't Impress AV Club."
This was an…interesting book. Eternal love, magical horses, dead architects trying to build a rainbow bridge to heaven, a parallel universe New York that is almost-but-not-quite like ours, snow drifts that cover skyscrapers and a mayoral system that involves a College of Cardinals-esque committee dubbing each new…
I watched a lot of "Blind Date" late at nights. Looking back at the show now, it's actually kind of quaint. They cover a whole date! With just two people! Sometimes it doesn't work out and the couple doesn't have sex! Sometimes it does work out but they decide not to sleep together and share a good night kiss!
I've been really, really blown away by Hill on Psych. He was pretty much the worst part of The West Wing, so I wasn't particularly anxious to see him on anything else. This is clearly more in his wheelhouse.
Sad, to be sure, but getting eight seasons out of this (lovely, wonderful, perpetually enjoyable) little fluff ball of a series is incredible.
Yeah, if Emilia Clarke wasn't around Kit Harrington would definitely be the frontrunner for Worst Actor on Game of Thrones.
Statistically speaking this has to make someone happy, and I suppose I'll cop to being that person.
Because when I think "tortured genius," oh yeah, I think Jason Segel.
