Knew it was coming as soon as the woman went by screaming. Felt horrible for both the mom and baby. God knows what those creeps are doing with both.

The thing that keep Elizabeth going is having other prisoners. Whether that's Gregory or Young-Hee or Gabriel, she needs fellow travelers so she can maintain her feelings of purpose. Her biggest complaint about Philip is the feeling that Phil would leave if the door were unlocked. When Lisa decides to leave the prison

Elizabeth's reaction to EST is perfect. Elizabeth would absolutely see EST as a shallow capitalist ploy. I doesn't matter if Philip feels like he's getting something out of it, the moment money becomes involves Elizabeth's suspicions go to maximum.

The Captain America films are the most consistently good parts of the MCU which is shocking. Who would have anticipated a character in a spangly outfit would be the best source material for the 21st century?

This is just damn good writing.

"Zombies or Hannibal"

Yep and in the key scene where he recruits Robin Williams.

As reported in the Onion, the only proper way to honor Prince is by getting freaky.

Coooooool.

Really liked the effect of making the whites of Ivar's eyes almost glow blue. Its a little obvious but it succeeds at giving him an unsettling otherworldly glare. He is clearly the Muad'dib.

One thing about rats, they survive. I wonder if this is setting up Martha as a woman without a country, on the run from both the FBI and the KGB. Gradually making one compromise after another to stay ahead. All the while, her continual failure to die or resurface hangs like a sword of Damocles over the KGB and FBI.

100%. Philip looks like things are grinding him physically into a pulp. I every person he kills seems to be taking a little more of his life force away from him.

That's fine. People click with different music in different ways. It just makes you human.

Oh for Pete's sake, Roman soldiers are running around like its tourist season in front of the Colosseum.

Sir Ian McKellen as Richard III. Yes its a modernist adaptation but Frank Underwood has nothing on the ruthless, fourth wall breaking Duke of York.

I'd have to agree with Lewis's Lincoln. A lot of actors have done the aspects of Lincoln that blend with the myth. The nobility of purpose, the passion, etc. Often giving him a deep, dignified voice.

When the casting gods hand you Cristin Milioti on a silver platter you don't just fridge her.

The worst part was that it totally re-contextualized the show. One of the things that got me into the show in the first place was the idea of a central romantic plot that was doomed. They also managed to hit home runs on Ted and Robin's breakup and casting a Tracey that made sense as the true love.

It was a nice trick but it wasn't an earth shattering conceit. It was a nice way of making things a little harder on the story but when it was revealed as cheap ploy it became infuriating.

"A reveal that would’ve worked a lot better before HIMYM used it in its own pilot and then proceeded to jerk around viewers for nine seasons."
