I feel similarly about Stick. He's a good foil for Matt in small doses but the longer he's on screen talking to F-ing Daredevil about ruthlessness and attachments like a literal Frank Miller avatar, the sooner I lose interest.

I think the general weakness of the whole of the Marvel Netflix universe (apart from Danny) has been The Hand.
A little disappointed that this wasn't just an Afro-American version of James Clavell's "Shogun" but I suppose RZA already did that with "Afro Samurai."
Can the Iron Fist just pass from Danny to Colleen and fix this?
Going back over past seasons, Rick rarely crossed into abject villainy that often until probably mid-way through last season.
Incidentally, "You're the Worst" is also how people who watched the show feel about it after the finale.
Exactly! You would find Numidians, Gauls, Syrians, Germans, and Illyrians all in the legions and local customs and wares spread throughout the Roman world. It was a highly effective way of integrating peoples and one of the reasons the Romans didn't have to put down too many internal uprising before the 3rd Century.…
"Sure, but that's more a criticism of the real historical Sparta than the movie."
According to ancient records, at any given times the Helots outnumbers the Spartans 7 to 1. Which is a shade under the ratio of slave to free in Haiti on the eve of their revolution. With a Spartan population in the hundreds of thousands, that means that at a given moment, there were probably a million Helots.…
My History- PhD candidate friend to me on exiting the movie, "8 million Helots just rolled over in their graves."
To be honest the "forcing individuals to become strong" failed miserably. The Spartans hated using their army because they needed it at home to tamp down the threat of Helot uprisings. They then got their butts handed to them by the Thebans and Macedonians before being crushed by Rome. The Romans in particular…
"8 Million Helots just rolled over in their graves." - My friend after coming out of 300.
Just give Colleen the Iron Fist and kill off Danny. I don't know how yet, maybe dynamite.
Would love to see a take on how Titanic-mania denied Elliott Smith an Oscar for "Miss Misery." I know that technically the Oscars were the 1998 version however just watching the clip from the live performance and comparing "My Heart Will Go On" to white suit "Miss Misery" today, its painfully obvious how Titanic fever…
Anyone else feel that Alison and Donnie have gotten short shrift this season? Her and Donnie have been through 60% of Breaking Bad over the course of the show. So it seems kind of odd that they haven't been more involved. Or at least give us one more accidental murder to bury in their garage.
How about just killing the show off?
Honestly that would be far superior.
Great job pointing out Eva Green who was magnetic. Terrific performance of not just lines but facial expressions and ticks. Really built a character.
I just think he's human. It's not impossible to mess up a detail like that. Especially since the Fw 190 is more distinct from the Spitfire and (arguably) a cooler looking plane.
It honestly took spotting Cillian Murphy on an evacuation boat at night to figure out just how the timelines were set.
