"Where are these people's PRIORITIES?!"
"Where are these people's PRIORITIES?!"
Farewell Nina, like many Russians you deserved far better from your country than what you received.
People don't our movie! Boo hoo hoo!
Immediate disqualification for the HIMYM reference.
We've got nothing verifiable from outside sources no. We can always YouTube something on King. Its easy to see where King borrowed or alluded to scripture.
Have the people who write these movies ever actually been in a history class? Comparing a quotation from King, a minister, with a quote from Jesus would never cause a problem because its actually relevant to understanding King's rhetorical style.
No one would stupid enough to made this movie! Bad movies don't get sequels…..(sees poster for BvS)…..Oh….(sobs quietly)
I find that a fascinating image, people just getting tired of it. Like a TV show that runs a couple of seasons too long. Meh, lets see what else is on.
That's pretty cool.
Rewatching the show years later I am astounded at the amount of latent homoeroticism that was in that show.
Its almost sensual.
There were definite problems but I agree that Superman Returns had a good tone and Routh did have that "Aww shucks" element you'd expect from Clark Kent.
I did like. Sure it has problems but it was bright, had its fun moments, and the John Williams score. Not quite as horrible as it seemed in the moment.
It holds up a little better than expected. Once that John Williams theme kicks in and the big blue boy scout saves a plane load of people you tend to get why some people prefer Superman.
Hell half of Alfred's role in the Nolan trilogy is breaking the tension with a joke,
"or even the more puppyish charm of one-timer Brandon Routh"
That meet up was perfect. It actually had a good motivation and a reason for Supes and Bats to dislike each other. Joker sets up shop in Metropolis and Batman follows where Superman doesn't approve of him causing mayhem in Metropolis's underworld. Batman gets upset when Superman doesn't take Joker seriously.
I'm really hoping that doesn't happen as it might be a little too dark even for this show. I'm sure Pastor Tim would be looking at several days alone in concrete room with the Jennings, a pair of pliers, and a blowtorch.
I had this terrible feeling that Pastor Tim will leverage Paige's secret into some kind of abuse, leading to Philip and Elizabeth going Medieval on his ass and in turn winning Paige over to the cause.
That's not funny. That's not…
