And if you want visibility/an example, you start at the top.

I kept waiting for Thorne to make the call to send Sam to Oldtown in tonight's episode. He's a dick, but apparently one with sound judgment, so I'd buy it if he recognized Sam's intellect and potential as a non-combatant.
A hell of a lot more than I ever want to see Dorne again!
Anybody else kind of disappointed with how the room of faces was designed? Too sanitary for my tastes. It lacked the gross vibe I got when reading it.
I respectfully disagree.
1. I don't think the scene undoes the progress Sansa has made so far. I think it shows how far her newfound strength is from being useful against someone as horrible as Ramsay. I also think you could argue that she did go through with it begrudgingly. She started undressing, didn't fight…
Thank you! I hate what's happening to Sansa, but anyone claiming surprise at her rape last night just isn't thinking clearly.
I actually miss violent cartoons and toys. Kids (boys especially) do crave danger at some level. G.I. Joe and Transformers delivered that thrill to me in an age-appropriate manner. That prepared me for the violence of Die Hard and more adult content when I was old enough.
Even back in Kratt's Creatures, I thought those two had a pretty fun job. Getting paid to hike around the world with my brother and learn awesome shit about animals all the time sounds pretty great.
Agreed. What I've seen of it makes me glad, nay proud, to not have the Disney Channel or any other children's cable channels.
If the kid himself hasn't turned you off, what about the shitty nehru collar on his ill-fitting smock?
How about the low-budget lack of secondary/tertiary colors?
Or the fact that his dad is a dickless waste of a man? Learn some basic auto maintenance and personal grooming, jackass!
The narration on Caillou makes me hate old people. (Not all the time, just during the show and for a few hours after it's over.)
I'm going to print and save this post to show people what "haters gonna hate" means.
The robots are "real people"?
Can we get a Spoiler Space for this up and running by tomorrow? I'm itchin' to talk about favorite scenes I can't wait to see.
The darkness doesn't bother me, but I did picture nearly every scene in the book damp and foggy. Even in daylight.
All footnotes will be incorporated into brothel scenes with topless women asking questions like, "Was John Uskglass really real?"
There's also a rather beautiful and sad romantic story that often gets downplayed when folks try to explain the book. After the second reading, it became my favorite part. I'm looking forward to those notes being hit in the series.
Can I pack up my family and come live on your bookshelf?
I was racking my brain today trying to remember the most insufferable pop culture item of the past year. I can't believe I forgot Serial!
I gave firefly a serious try but it was ridiculous.
